高周波誘導熱プラズマ初期点火時の誘導コイル負荷インピーダンスと高周波インバータの過渡応答特性

Generation and sustainment of rf induction thermal plasmas in atmospheric pressure range require a high voltage in the initial startup phase and a high rf power during the steady state sustainment phase. The high rf electrostatic fi led induced between induction coil conductor wound around a glass discharge tube generates surface electrostatic discharges in which the discharge current fl ows through the dielectric glass tube. After several hundreds microseconds the electrostatic discharges grow suffi ciently to transfer to a volumetric electromagnetic discharge which is maintained by the inductive electric fi eld. During this discharge mode transition, the loading impedance of the induction coil changes signifi cantly. This loading impedance change of the induction coil leads a deviation from a series resonance condition of the LCR output circuit including the induction coil, which strongly affects the output characteristics of a semiconductor rf inverter power supply. In this paper transient response of the induction coil impedance in the initial startup phase of the rf thermal plasma generation is studied experimentally. Dynamic interactions of the rf inverter power supply with generated rf plasmas are also investigated and strong deterioration of the inverter output effi ciency is found experimentally. Preliminary frequency tracking experiments show a successful improvement of the inverter output effi ciency and absorbed rf power in the generated plasma.

移動動詞「入る」「出る」で指摘される屋外の空間領域に対する移動の方向性の影響

The purpose of this study is to clarify how motion verbs influence human perception of spatial sphere shared by majority of people through an experiment. First, the experiment was conducted to draw spatial spheres using the Japanese motion verbs "Hairu" and "Deru" outdoors. Second, the spatial sphere samples are divided into two types, considering the directionality that the verbs connote. These groups were called respectively "inside type" and "outside type", and cluster analysis is applied to each type, and layered shapes of the grouped spatial sphere samples are created to represent the ranges of the spatial spheres that are perceived by people. Finally, through the comparison of the two types of the spatial spheres derived from the experiment, it was confirmed that it is fair to say that visual elements of elevation basis that surrounds the place influence perception of spatial sphere outdoors on "inside type", while more planar visual elements tend to influence perception of spatial sphere outdoors on "outside type".

Objectives: We examined the effects of Toki-shigyaku-ka-goshuyu-shokyo-to on chronic constriction injury of the sciatic nerve as a neuropathic pain model in rats. Methods: Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: group 1, no constriction and no medication (n=8); group 2, constriction without medication (n=8); group 3, constriction with medication (n= 8). On each group we performed thermal stimulation tests for pain measurement before the operation and 7 and 14 days after the operation. We also measured body temperature at the tympanum and the planta. Results and conclusions: A significant increase of pain was observed at 7 and 14 days after constriction in group 2. Toki-shigyaku-ka-goshuyu-shokyo-to relieved their pain 14 days after constriction. Furthermore, Toki-shigyaku-ka-goshuyu-shokyo-to warmed their feet significantly, while chronic constriction injury induced coldness in the constricted feet. We conclude that Toki-shigyaku-ka-goshuyu-shokyo-to relieves both pain and coldness in a neuropathic pain model.

Two Way Satellite Time and Frequency Transfer (TWSTFT) enables us to perform time transfer precisely, for atmospheric and geometric delays between the earth station and the satellite are almost canceled because of the path reciprocity. However, the delays in the uplink path and the downlink path of the earth station cannot cancel due to the different signal paths. The delay difference makes the absolute value of the time difference unknown, while the fluctuation in the delay difference degrades the stability of the time transfer. We have developed a delay-difference calibration system using a multi-channel TWSTFT modem. Because the signals for the calibration are processed with the received time-transfer signals from other stations, not only a short-term variation but also a secular change in the delay difference can be measured. It is found that the diurnal variation of the delay difference becomes a few hundred pico-second even if the low noise amplifier works in the temperature-controlled box. As for the time transfer result between two hydrogen masers, its stability was improved by the correction of the delay difference. We confirmed the calibration system was important to improve the precision of TWSTFT.
