A Survey on Various Types of Chatbots (original) (raw)

Literature Survey of Various Chatbots

2020

Abstract: A chatbot is AI computer software that can act as a conversation through textual or auditory methods. The core of chatbots analyses a customer’s data using the artificial intelligence which integrates the response with them. Different tasks can be replaced with AI-powered bots as they are much more powerful—and are capable of performing multiple tasks at once. Machine Learning techniques are basically used in the process of understanding the input that we get from the user and replying to the user. Natural language processing allows a bot to have a conversation as naturally as possible. The ideal interaction between user and chatbot is a balanced mix of Innovative technology and human Intervention.

Development of Chatbots

This abstract includes the total quantum of the chatbot. A new approach to computer-to-mortal business is handed by conversational interfaces, or chatbots as they're generally known. In the history, exercising a quest machine or completing a form was demanded in order to have a software programme respond to a query, as programs were fully reckoned on syntax and semantics of the programming language and it was veritably delicate for the nonprogrammers to communicate with computers. With a chatbot, a customer may principally interrogate request the same way they would with a mortal. Voice chatbots like Alexa and Siri are right now the most well-known feathers of chatbots. On the other hand, chatbot handover rates on computer discourse platforms are presently truly strong. You may make a introductory chatbot by adding generally asked questions (FAQs) to chatbot software. major invention companies to prepare common shoptalk. Integrating the chatbot with the company's enterprise software can enhance its capabilities. The maturity of marketable chatbots calculate on platforms developed by the major technology companies to exercise natural language. Amazon Lex, IBM Watson, Face book Deep Text, Google Cloud Natural Language API, Slack, Skype, and Microsoft Cognitive Services are a numerous of these.

A Survey on Chatbots

International journal of engineering research and technology, 2018

A chatbot is a computer program aims to make a conversation between both human and machine. The chatbot can also act as a service to be used in various platforms such as messaging apps and virtual assistants. The chatbot has evolved a lot in decades starting from an amusement to performing serious tasks.A lot of design factors are to be kept in mind while constructing a chatbot in order to make it user friendly and accurate. A chatbot can be classified into various types based on its domain, model and conversation type. The chatbot technology continues to face a wide variety of challenges and has to strive to fulfil the expectations.

Chatbots in online business

PROCEEDINGS OF THE 8th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON APPLIED INTERNET AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES, 2018

This paper explains use of chatbots in online business. What are benefits and how you can emprove your buisiness, sales by using chabot as your personal asistent. The paper also provides the results of statistical analyses of research. The results of a given study are based on data obitained from a companies that implemented chatbots in their business.

A survey on Different Algorithms used in Chatbot

Machines are working similar to humans because of advanced technological concepts. Best example is chatbot which depends on advanced concepts in computer science. Chatbots serve as a medium for the communication between human and machine. There are a number of chatbots and design techniques available in market that perform different function and can be implemented in sectors like business sector, medical sector, farming etc. The technology used for the advancement of conversational agent is natural language processing (NLP). Due to these advancements in artificial intelligence concepts, the precision and perfection has been greatly improved, chatbots have become a good and optimal option for many organizations. There is also a chatbot system in the travel sector which collects user searches and provides appropriate search results, but still the research is going on to improve customer satisfaction. We introduce the background of chatbots so as to get an idea of how chatbots have been developed. This paper also gives a brief look on recent design techniques used and thus one can get to know what advancements can still be done in the chatbot system for various sectors.

An Overview of Chatbot Technology

IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology

The use of chatbots evolved rapidly in numerous fields in recent years, including Marketing, Supporting Systems, Education, Health Care, Cultural Heritage, and Entertainment. In this paper, we first present a historical overview of the evolution of the international community's interest in chatbots. Next, we discuss the motivations that drive the use of chatbots, and we clarify chatbots' usefulness in a variety of areas. Moreover, we highlight the impact of social stereotypes on chatbots design. After clarifying necessary technological concepts, we move on to a chatbot classification based on various criteria, such as the area of knowledge they refer to, the need they serve and others. Furthermore, we present the general architecture of modern chatbots while also mentioning the main platforms for their creation. Our engagement with the subject so far, reassures us of the prospects of chatbots and encourages us to study them in greater extent and depth.

A Review of How to Use Chatbots in the Future

Proceedings of International Conference on Economics Business and Government Challenges

The current, rapid advancement of technology across all fields, including services based on artificial intelligence (AI), serves as the driving force for this study. In contrast to other forms of AI technology, chatbots may interact with clients directly and without human intervention. According to the studied research, chatbots have a chance of failing. Additionally, if the "practice" data utilized is not as exact, the dialogue cannot be understood, and last but not least, secure personal data. Chatbots are not a new concept, but they still have room for development. Additionally, it is envisaged that industry participants will gain knowledge of the function of automation so they may use chatbots to boost business profitability and provide efficiency in many operational fields. Survey of Chatbot Applications

TEST Engineering & Management, 2020

Chatbot a computer application designed to imitate conversation with human users, especially over the internet. Chatbots, or conversational interfaces as they are also known, present a new way for individuals to interact with computer systems. Traditionally, to get a question answered by a software program involved using a search engine, or filling out a form. A chatbot allows a user to simply ask questions in the same manner that they would address a human. Example, resolving customer queries: Answering questions is helpful but a chatbot is not that useful if it cannot complete transactions. For example, if customers frequently call to check the delivery time of their package, it makes sense to let the chatbot handle those questions, answering frequently asked questions, and recommending new offers: Recommending the right products to the customer based on her verbal feedback. The most well known chatbots currently are voice chatbots: Alexa and Siri. However, chatbots are currently being adopted at a high rate on computer chat platforms.
