Higher education is an education unit that organizes higher education. College students are called students, while college educators are called lecturers. Higher education as a place of learning and self-development Students provide facilities to improve student achievement in the form of student achievement scholarships. This scholarship program is expected to stimulate students' interest in learning to be better. In determining scholarship recipients, the student division selects prospective scholarship recipients based on existing criteria. In the selection process, the student division has difficulty choosing the data of prospective recipients. Because each type of scholarship criteria and has different criteria weights. Calculation of the value of weighting criteria requires precision. Based on the problems that occur, the author designed a decision support system to determine the recipients of achievement scholarships using the SAW method. This system can help student affairs to carry out criteria for recipients of achievement scholarships based on administrative data of prospective scholarship recipients in determining criteria for weighting value calculations. With this system, it can minimize errors to determine prospective scholarship recipients who excel. After testing the use of support systems for deciding scholarship decisions using the SAW method, it can be concluded that a decision support system can assist the student's part in carrying out their duties.

Prospective recipients of scholarships are chosen based on the criteria determined by the institution that gives the scholarship. Scholarships are given as well as awards for outstanding students. To help determine who receives a scholarship, a method is needed that can provide valid scholarship recipient recommendations. Therefore Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) is used. This method was chosen because it was able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. Here the alternative in question is the prospective scholarship recipient based on predetermined criteria. The study was conducted by looking for weight values for each attribute. Then the ranking process is carried out which determines the optimal alternative.

A Fuzzy Topsis Multiple-Attribute Decision Making for Scholarship Selection

Biaya pendidikan semakin mahal, banyak mahasiswa mengajukan beasiswa. Ratusan bahkan ribuan formulir pengajuan beasiswa harus diseleksi oleh sponsor. Permasalahan tersebut bertujuan untuk memilih beberapa alternatif terbaik berdasarkan beberapa atribut (kriteria) yang digunakan. Dalam rangka pengambilan keputusan pada permasalahan yang bersifat fuzzy dapat digunakan Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pemodelan menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML) pada FMADM dengan metode TOPSIS dan Weighted Product untuk menyeleksi calon penerima beasiswa akademik dan non akademik di Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga. Data yang digunakan adalah data fuzzy dan crisp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Metode TOPSIS dan Weighted Product pada FMADM dapat digunakan untuk seleksi beasiswa. Hasil seleksi merekomendasikan mahasiswa yang memiliki tingkat kelayakan paling tinggi untuk mendapatkan beasiswa berdasarkan nilai preferensi yang dimiliki. Abstract As the education fees are becoming more expensive, more students apply for scholarships. Consequently, hundreds and even thousands of applications need to be handled by the sponsor. To solve the problems, some alternatives based on several attributes (criteria) need to be selected. In order to make a decision on such fuzzy problems, Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMDAM) can be applied. In this study, Unified Modeling Language (UML) in FMADM with TOPSIS and Weighted Product (WP) methods is applied to select the candidates for academic and non-academic scholarships at Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga. Data used were a crisp and fuzzy data. The results show that TOPSIS and Weighted Product FMADM methods can be used to select the most suitable candidates to receive the scholarships since the preference values applied in this method can show applicants with the highest eligibility.

STIE Tribuana Bekasi has a scholarship program for its students, but in making the selection it is difficult because of the large number of applicants and the absence of standard standards in the selection of scholarship recipients, because currently they are still using manual selection. To facilitate the selection of scholarship recipients, the authors developed a Decision Support System for scholarship recipients by comparison using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). AHP is a decision-making method according to predetermined criteria, where the decision-making criteria can be multi-criteria by setting priorities using a logical and structured procedure. Meanwhile, the SAW method is a method used to solve the problem of Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM). The advantages of this research are doing comparisons and comparisons using 2 methods in finding and getting the best results from the selection of applicants for scholarship recipients, so that in the end the results of the selection are better and computerized, and through stages that are more selective and can be felt more fair and in accordance with the purpose of the scholarship, which is right on target for prospective scholarship recipients. Based on the results of the AHP and SAW methods, the AHP method is a more effective and optimal method to use. Because the AHP method has the closest value to zero with an average value of 0.246806737, while SAW has an average value of 1.60644. Thus, in the future for cases like this, the AHP method should be used.

The Selection of KORPRI Scholarship Recipients Using Sugeno's Fuzzy Logic

Student Scholarship Allowance Selection is a routine practice carried out by the Bukittinggi City KORPRI (Civil Servants Corps), which is given to the sons and daughters of civil servants in the Bukittinggi City area who are currently pursuing higher education. Determining scholarship recipients always goes through a strict selection process due to the large number of applicants each year. The selection of scholarship recipients is based on specific criteria and requirements set by KORPRI Bukittinggi City. The criteria/requirements for awarding scholarships are based on three factors: Grade Point Average (GPA), parental income/salary, and number of dependents. In this research, the author applies Sugeno's fuzzy logic in determining scholarship allocation because Sugeno's fuzzy logic can select candidates validly, transparently, and fairly, thus guaranteeing that the selected candidates truly deserve to receive a scholarship. To conduct research effectively, the author designed a research framework that helps the scholarship allocation process using Sugeno fuzzy logic, implemented through the Visual Basic 2010 and MySQL programming languages. Research findings show that the Sugeno fuzzy method can provide accurate and objective recommendations in the scholarship recipient selection process using relevant variables and predetermined rules. This recommendation system can produce fair and transparent decisions. This research aims to contribute to the development of a more effective and efficient scholarship recipient selection system. Decision support system design of higher education scholarship recipients with android-based

The purpose of this study is to present the design of Decision Support System (DSS) to analyse the college scholarship recipients on the android-based. The design methodology for selecting scholarship recipients is used Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (Fuzzy MADM). Fuzzy MADM is an algorithm that used to find the optimal result of a number of alternatives with certain criteria. This method is chosen because the calculation of this method uses multiplication to correlate the attribute rating and only yields the largest value that will be selected as an alternative scholarship recipient. DETERMINATION OF SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS USING SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING METHOD

This paper presents Simple Additive Weighting method to determine scholarship recipients. Sharing scholarships are undertaken by several institutions to help someone who is less able or achieving during his studies. To assist the determination in determining someone who is eligible to receive a scholarship then needed a decision support system. One method that can be used for Decision Support System is by using Fuzzy MADM (Multi Attribute Decision Making). In this research will be raised a case that is looking for the best alternative based on criteria to perform calculation of FMADM method in the case. This method is chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is that eligible to receive scholarship based on the criteria specified. Research is done by finding the weight value for each attribute, then done the ranking process that will determine the optimal alternative, the best student.
