This study aims to investigate online learning for elementary school students in Indonesia due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The data were collected using a survey method through distributing questionnaires with a google form. Secondary data was also supported using the library method through documentation to gain the relevant data regarding the impact of COVID-19 and online learning in elementary schools from various sources such as documents, books, magazine news, and journal articles. Data analysis used a flow chart following Milles and Huberman. Results show that the impact of COVID-19 on implementing online learning in elementary schools in Indonesia can be implemented quite well. The impact of COVID-19 on the implementation of distance learning in elementary schools can be carried out quite well if there is a collaboration between teachers, students, and parents in learning at home.
Analysis of Distance Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, where the teaching and learning process is usually carried out in the classroom but with the pandemic, learning must be done remotely or through online learning. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. 40 students and 10 prospective teachers practice teaching in junior and senior high schools as respondents in South Tangerang. The data was collected using Google forms and the results were analyzed statistically discritif. This research was conducted at the Tarbiyah Faculty, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta and several schools in South Tangerang. The results obtained were around 55.5% of students experienced an increase in understanding in learning, only 47.5% of students paid less attention to lessons when learning online and 59.5% of students could concentrate on following online learning, almost 60% of students preferred to study offline. ...

This study explores the perceptions of primary school teachers of online learning in a program developed in Indonesia called School from Home during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Data were collected through surveys and semi-structured interviews with 67 class teachers in primary schools. Data analysis used thematic analysis of qualitative data. The analysis results found four main themes, namely, instructional strategies, challenges, support, and motivation of teachers. This research contributes to the literature of online collaborative learning between teachers, parents, and schools that impact student success. Broadly, the success of online learning in Indonesia during the COVID-19 Pandemic was determined by the readiness of technology in line with the national humanist curriculum, support and collaboration from all stakeholders, including government, schools, teachers, parents and the community.

This study aimed to investigate the challenges encountered by school leaders in distance education, which has been implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was carried out as a case study of quantitative research methods. The research study comprises school leaders and provides education in the SDO Navotas during the school year 2019 to 2022. In order to collect data, the researcher created an interview form and questionnaire. Then the form was applied to the school leaders on a volunteer basis. The content analysis method was used in the data analysis. At the end of the study, the problems experienced by the school leaders were collected under the themes of implementation, technical, and instructor. The school leader stated that they mainly faced problems such as the transition to distance education, technical connection problems in the education portal during live classes and no computer/internet, decreasing motivation of teachers, inadequate parental support, lack of distance education support for inclusive and disable students, decreasing motivation of learners, provide academic monitoring, technical assistance, adapt with the advanced technologies, voluminous tasks lead to mental and emotional distress, inadequate learning resources, conflict with home responsibilities and compromised physical health. Determining the problems is the first step to proposing an action plan for learning and teaching improvement.

This data contains information about the implementation of distance learning carried out by elementary school teachers in Yogyakarta during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data presented is used as a GAP analysis to implement distance learning with home learning guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey instrument was developed based on three essential elements in learning: planning, implementing, and evaluating the teachers in elementary schools. This study aimed to analyze student perceptions regarding the role of teachers in classroom learning compared to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic by applying a quantitative approach with a survey method. Population in this study was students throughout Indonesia who were actively learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research used Cluster Sampling technique by distributing online forms to students studying at home in all provinces in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua; while sampling was conducted by random system. Chi square data analysis was carried out to analyze the close relationship between two variables that had nominal data. The results showed that almost all respondents (683 students or 93.8% of them) preferred face-to-face learning with teachers, while a small portion of 45 respondents (6.2%) liked face-to-screen learning (online). Online Teaching and Learning at Primary School During COVID-19 Pandemic

This study intends to explore Indonesian primary school teachers' and parents' perceptions of online learning and teaching in the COVID-19 pandemic situations. Particularly, this study intends to identify the significant challenges encountered by the Indonesian teachers and students' parents during the sudden shift of teaching and learning. Semi-structured interviews with a series of open-ended questions were used to collect information. Eleven teachers and students' parents from public high schools in Gorontalo province participated in this study. The results indicate that lack of technological devices and the cost of internet data connections are among the problems faced by teachers and parents. Ultimately, several recommendations were suggested for better action and successful implementation of online learning, particularly in underdeveloped areas in the eastern part of Indonesia.
