This study aims to assess the influence of awareness on customers' attitude towards M-BANKING in Delhi. It investigates whether the attitude varies among M-BANKING users on the factors such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived security & privacy and perceived risk due to difference in their degree of awareness on these factors. The study uses pre structured questionnaire for survey using non-probability sampling. Factor analyses and regression technique were employed to study the relationship. The results show that difference in customers' attitude among M-BANKING users depends up on the difference of their degree of awareness on factors such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived security & privacy and perceived risk. The small sample size is representative of the respondents from Delhi only who were selected through non-probability sampling. This has an effect on the generalization of the findings. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to explore factors affecting mobile banking (m-banking) adoption behavior of Indian consumers. Furthermore, the purpose is to identify which factors have a major influence on adoption intention in context with m-banking. Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected through an online survey of mobile user respondents. A total of 248 utilizable cases were collected from m-banking users. Review of previous literature has been used to establish hypothesis, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis has been used to check the significant factors affecting adoption of m-banking in India. Findings: A total of eight factors has been identified which affect m-banking adoption behavior in India. Usefulness has been found to be making the most impact with reference to m-banking adoption. A feature of the banking industry across the globe has been that it is increasingly becoming turbulent and competitive, characterized by an increasing trend towards internationalization, mergers, takeovers and consolidation of the banking industry. Internet penetration and concept of Internet banking has dramatically changed the Banking Industry.
Factors affecting adoption of Internet Banking: A case study from India
The objective of this research is to find out the factors affecting adoption of Internet banking in India. The data is based upon a survey of 150 bank customers using a convenience sampling technique with the aid of a structured self-administered questionnaire. The research model was analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis. The recommended procedures have been tested which is measurement model and structural model. Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Risk, Image, Results Demonstrability, Perceived Behavioral Control and Subjective Norm were influence intention to use Internet banking. However, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Credibility and Computer Self Efficacy were not influence intention to use Internet banking. The findings of this study are expected to be of great use to the bank marketers. An understanding of the factors identified in this study allows bank managers to direct efforts and resources in the most effective and efficient way to increase bank business in the long run and encourage their bank customer’s to adopt Internet banking. Moreover, this paper contributes to the empirical literature of diffusion of financial innovations, particularly Internet banking in a developing country, such as India.
User acceptance determinants in m-banking adoption

This study investigates the factors influencing the adoption of mobile banking (mbanking) in Nepal. It seeks to identify the key determinants of user acceptance in a context where concerns about safety and trust persist. Design/Methodology/Approach: Questionnaires were used to gather data from 240 respondents out of a total sample size of 300. Regression, ANOVA, post-hoc analysis and other descriptive and inferential statistics were used to examine the relationships between perceived risk, trust, convenience, relative benefits and m-banking adoption in Nepal. Findings: Perceived risk was found to have a significantly negative relationship with mbanking adoption. Relative advantages showed a strong positive relationship with adoption. However, trust had a negligible impact and convenience did not demonstrate statistical significance. Age and education significantly affected user acceptability with users over 50 and those with advanced degrees showing higher acceptance. Conclusion: The study suggests focusing on the relative benefits of mobile banking and addressing perceived risk in order to increase users' confidence. The findings suggest that trust may not be a significant factor and convenience's role remains uncertain. Banks should adapt their strategies to accommodate customers of various ages and educational levels. Practical Implications: The findings guide financial institutions and regulators to improve m-banking adoption. Implementing user-friendly, low-risk, low-cost financial services and financial literacy programs can enhance user acceptance. This study applies the technology acceptance model to Nepal and emphasizes the need for a national strategy to promote formal financial services including m-banking. It helps understand technology adoption in emerging economies.
Understanding the Behavioural Intention to Adopt Internet Banking: An Indian Perspective

Internet banking gives banks colossal advantages as far as cost reserve funds, better client connections, and separate contributions from the opposition. This study expects to recognize the components that essentially influence the intention of bank clients to utilize Internet banking administrations in India. The examination proposed a complete model called Internet Banking Adoption in India, which was an implicit part based on the "Brought together Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology" (UTAUT) and three extra factors that were recognized as setting delicate. A selfmade survey with 100 samples on the impact of behavioural intention to adopt Internet Banking was conducted using surveys available on the Internet. For further analysis, a statistical tool like Chi-Square, correlation and regression were performed on SPSS software. According to the TAM Model, perceived trust, perceived risk and perceived ease of use was taken into consideration to rate the behavioural intention for adopting Internet Banking in day-today life.

Factors Affecting Adoption of Mobile Banking: An Empirical Study in the State of Odisha

The purpose of this paper is to investigate m-banking adoption in Odisha; a service relatively new in the region. This empirical study aims to investigate the factors that influence consumer’s intention to adopt mobile banking by extending the renowned framework of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The aim is to gauge awareness level and to identify those factors that inhibit or motivate m-banking usage in Odisha. A self-administrated questionnaire had been developed and distributed in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. Out of the 300 questionnaires, only 170 useable questionnaires were returned, yielding a response rate of 56.67 percent. Results were subsequently analyzed by using multiple regression and correlation analysis. Even with the rapid expansion of information technology and m-banking services in India, Mbanking adoption has not seen that tremendous growth. Still there has been a lot more potential market to connect with online banking services. It has been observed that India has great potential for m-banking but very less customer base is registered as users of mobile banking. This study extends the applicability of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) constructs modified with customers’ perceived risk, perceived trust and perceived financial cost to investigate the factors influencing actual usage of m-banking adoption. Data collected from 265 m-banking users were analyzed by means of multiple regression. In support with previous studies, findings revealed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived risk and perceived trust found to be significant in adoption of m-banking adoption. Perceived cost was not significant for explaining m-banking adoption.

The last decade has witnessed a drastic change in the economic and banking environment all over the world. With the economic and financial sector reforms introduced in the country since early 1990s, the operating environment for banks in India has also undergone a rapid change. Increasingly, more and more people are switching to electronic platforms for executing financial transactions. Internet banking has brought about a 360 degree change in the entire banking industry. The wider usage of cell phone and internet certainly seems to be playing a role in blurring physical boundaries, and unlocking a whole new world of opportunities for banks in tapping newer customer segments and in recording greater volume of transactions. For the banks, technology has emerged as a strategic resource for achieving higher efficiency, control of operations, productivity and profitability. For customers, it is the realization of their anywhere, anytime, anyway banking dream. This has prompted the banks to embrace technology to meet the increasing customer expectation and face the tough competition. This research paper is focused on what are the drivers that drive consumers towards adoption of E banking. How consumers have accepted internet banking and how to improve the usage rate were the focus of research area in this study.
