This research paper deals with results of applying critical thinking program and techniques strategies in developing students' critical and creative thinking. In the reforming its education systems, Kosovo is implementing constructive philosophy and active teaching strategies of this program that creates an appropriate learning environment. Many schools in our country have started and somehow have stabilized in the implementation of this new philosophy and mindset in education which favors the free and creative thinking of students in our schools. On the other hand, many other schools have not begun to reformyet and consequently their pedagogical everyday life is still traditional with elements of formalism and instructional verbalism. In this research we have specifically collected data from the Gjakova Region which is one of the seven regions of Kosovo. These data are the opinions of students and teachers. These opinions, which we present as research findings, are collected from school environments that apply Critical Thinking Teaching techniques, and from school environments that have not begun yet to implement them. The thesis consists of theoretical treatment and comparative analysis of findings from these two school environments which we have elaborated with SPSS software and presented with different tables and graphs. Both theoretical treatment and research findings emphasize the importance of Critical Thinking Philosophy for developing students' Critical Thinking and creative abilities.

This study aims to produce a prototype of a Teacher's Book and a Student Book based on Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), describes validity, practicality, and the effectiveness of the prototype. This type of research is developmental research that refers to educational design research by Tjeerard Plomp & Nieveen using the 4D model by Thiagarajan, comprising the phases of define, design, develop and disseminate. Teacher's books and student books were tested on 33 students. The trial results were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results are as follows: 1) The validity of Teacher's Books, Student Books and critical thinking assessment tests with the "valid" category. 2) Practicality of Teacher's Books and Student Books is very practical in terms of the mode of implementation of learning, readability of student books in the "easy" category. 3) The effectiveness of learning is very effective and has seen improvements in the test of critical thinking skills. Student responses gave positive responses. Based on these results it can be concluded that the prototype of the teacher's book and the student's book are very feasible to be applied in the learning process because it enhances critical thinking skills.
Developing Creative Thinking Skills in Learning at Higher-Educational Institution of Teacher
—The ability to think creatively is necessary for human resource competencies in order to boost global competitiveness. The aims of this study were: (1) developing a textbook on learning strategies to think creatively; (2) developing course materials applying creative thinking skills in the Bachelor Program of Culinary Arts. The study employed a developmental research using the 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) model of development (Thiagarajan, 1974). This preliminary research was up to the Develop stage. The subjects were the students of the program. The data were collected using observation and questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive-quantitatively. The results showed that the textbook was excellent as the total score attained was 3.41, a very feasible category. The feasibility was supported by the textbook comprehensibility as assessed by the students and in accordance with the undergraduate level. The results regarding the course materials reached a score of 3.42, i.e. good category.
