DC Power Supply Design for Lead-free Wave Soldering Machine (original) (raw)
2017
Abstract
This paper outlines the design of a dc power supply for lead-free wave soldering machine. The design can be divided into two parts which consist of a three-phase diode bridge rectifier and buck-converter. A three-phase ac source voltage is stepped down and converted to dc voltage. The dc voltage is further stepped down to the specified rated voltage of the soldering machines. Theoretical calculation and analysis for the design is presented in this paper, along with the simulation model built by MATLAB/Simulink software. The simulation results are proved to match with the design specifications.
