Redalyc.El protocolo de investigación. Parte I

One of the principal aims in research is the publication of the study in scientific journals. This implies two challenges: the first one, the election of an adequate research design, and the second one, the concrete and simple wording of the results for the study to be accepted in the most appropriate journal according to the scope. Despite numerous supporting documents are available for both issues, the publication process is long, tiresome, and can discourage the most enthusiastic researcher. This is the first of a series of articles with the objective to describe the steps from the research question to the publication of the study. First of all, the importance of the research design will be addressed. The structure of the protocol is essential to achieve the objectives, and provides a way to organize the investigation in a logic, comprehensible and efficient manner.

TRES PROJECTES D’INVESTIGACIÓ ARQUEOLÒGICA AL SERVEI DE LA CIUTADANIA

The work carried out since 2010 by Tarragona City Council, the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC) and the Archbishopric of Tarragona has facilitated the production of three different projects. These projects all aim to increase and spread scientific knowledge and make it easily available to local citizens, as well as to all others who are interested. The three projects undertaken were: ‘In search of the Temple of Augustus: excavations in the central nave of Tarragona Cathedral’; ‘Amphiteatrum, memoria martyrum et ecclesiae. A Project for the socialisation of the amphitheatre of Tarragona: from archaeology to the history of religions’; and finally ‘The archaeological study of the apse of the Early Christian basilica of Saint Fructuosus in Tarragona’. The main novelty of these projects is the simultaneous preparation of different presentation formats included in the same scientific-educational project, which are presented together to society. These projects consist of historical reconstructions and the production of audiovisual materials, as well as permanent and temporary exhibitions that show their results. They also consist of educational publications that alternate with lectures and visits

E s necesario comprender que la cultura investigativa son todas aquellas manifestaciones culturales, organizacionales, actitudes, valores, objetos, métodos y técnicas, relacionadas con el fomento, desarrollo y difusión de la investigación, incluyendo la praxis de la misma. En vista de lo planteado, el presente artículo permite adentrarse en teorías que enriquecen el conocimiento y la lógica del pensamiento, haciendo un análisis que permite facilitar las herramientas necesarias para desarrollar competencias investigativas, a fin de fortalecer los aspectos representativos de la llamada cultura de la investigación, contribuyendo a despertar una cultura desde la óptica social y como actividad permanente de generación de conocimiento.

TRES ENFOQUES DE LA INVESTIGACI~N SOBRE CONCEPCIONES ALTERNATIVAS

SUMMARY In the last years the researchers on Science Education have given preferent attention to student's conceptions. Studies have been carried out and their interest is still growing. Our purpose in this paper is to give an approach to three ways of focusing the question: the calternative conceptions», the «ways of reasoning» and the «causal mental models» approaches. Our goal is to compare them and show, without being exhaustive, some of their findings and future spectatives.
