Abstract

IntroductionGender inequality has widely been debated upon in recent times; however as the society keeps on developing, the inequality between male and female seems getting wider. Gender has both psychological and cultural implications, the corresponding terms for gender and sex are different: while the corresponding terms for gender are masculine and feminine, that of sex is male and female. The differences between men and women have been understood to be the basis for inequality in the society.What are these differences? The fact remains that there are differences between male and female in terms of their biological make ups, however, the differences have always been the basis for justifying inequality between male and female. The physiological differences have been the basis for biological school of thought in analyzing the differences.
