DESIGN E-DESKEL SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE FOR POTENTIAL AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGEMENT OF VILLAGE

As the smallest part of the system of administrative governance in Indonesia, the village still has a conventional government in terms of data processing and delivery of information to the village. That the system of government and public services are clean, fair, and transparent is a challenge that must be addressed by central government agencies to ensure that regional and village government is carrying out its functions. The advances of information and communication technology so rapidly open up opportunities for community and village government, including online information access, management and administrative services, and information about the potential of the village. The purpose of this research is to design and implement a cloud E-DesKel program to address the problems faced by residents and village officials. E-DesKel is appropriate technology for the task; it performs a public service by implementing cloud computing in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS) to achieve content management and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) as a storage medium. E-DesKel provides facilities for the village administration and public services, reducing operating costs and delivering information quickly and accurately. The software development of cloud E-DesKel, using the linear sequential method, includes four phases: analysis, design, coding, and testing.

Designing Software Management Work Unit of Research and Development Department of Public Works and Public Housing

International Journal of Advanced Science and Technology (IJAST), 2019

Currently the management of the Work Unit in the Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is still using a simple computerized system, even though it has been supported by a computer. This causes several obstacles including supervision and control of the workings of each work unit in the Research and Development Center which is still slow which results in errors in processing transaction data. This software design uses descriptive research methods with the type of case study research at the Research and Development Center of the Department of Public Works and Public Housing with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literature studies. The data analysis technique uses an incremental model developed from the waterfall model, while the analysis model uses structured design analysis. Software System design is a Web base with MySql database. Data processed in this system include official travel transaction data, data on procurement of goods, payment transaction data for expert salaries, procurement of rental services and procurement of consultancy services including the use of annual budget. System testing conducted consists of alpha testing using black box testing methods. The conclusion of the test results states that the application is quite interesting, easy to use, helps in processing data, and can provide the desired information

Advancing the Efficacy of the College Office Management System of the Bulacan State University through the Implementation of a Network-Based Application

— The major concern of the research study is the development of a network-based Office Management System for the different colleges of the Bulacan State University that will automate all the transactions done inside the dean's office of each colleges. The beneficiaries of the system includes the deans, college secretaries, student assistants, computer technicians and faculty members of the different colleges. In order to develop a quality system, Iterative Waterfall Model was used. The system was developed using VB.Net and SQL Server as the development tools in developing the system. The Office Management System has the following important features: portability, low maintenance, user-friendliness, scalability, security. The Office Management System was evaluated based on the five acceptability issues with their corresponding computed mean performance which includes reliability, efficiency, accuracy, user friendliness and security of the system. The overall weighted mean is 4.71 with verbal interpretation of ―Excellent‖ shows that the developed system is highly acceptable for implementation.

A Framework for E-Office in UiTM

2005

E-office consists of applications that support the administrative and management functions of the office. These include scheduling system, booking system and leave application. In Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the staff force consists of nearly 15,000 academic and non-academic employees in 22 faculties and administrative offices. Currently the staffs face problems in administrating office tasks. These problems include poor retrieval of information, poorly organized office jobs, out-of-date or inaccurate information, misplaced and poorly designed forms as well as there being no confidentiality and privacy for applicants. Therefore, the requirement to implement e-office applications is highly critical. However, there have been no formal studies in requirement analysis for E-Office applications in this institution. Accurate understanding of the user requirement is essential, as it will determine the acceptance and its subsequent usage of e-office applications. Thus a survey was carried out amongst staffs to identify the user requirement for e-office applications that need to be implemented in UiTM. The analysis of the results shows that the majority of the respondents gave positive responses towards e-office implementation. Based on the result, we have come out with a framework for the e-office applications.

DEVELOPMENT OF WEB BASED SCHOOL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY APPROACH)

IAEME, 2019

The Objective of this research is to analysis and design web-based school management information systems that will provide leverage for school whom need the application to support the efficiency and effectivity of learning, teaching, and administration purposes. Analysis methods composed from two methods, which is current system analysis and recommended system planning. Current system data collection method included direct survey to school, interview, and research from literature. System design and recommendation method based on OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design). We created the model of information system to provide solution and guideline to school when they want to develop management information system. Summary of this research is provided model of analysis and design to leverage school whom need the application to support the efficiency and effectivity of learning, teaching, and administration purposes.

Model and Implementation of Inteligent Infor-Mation System of E-Bureau

Information Systems Management, 2013

The paper presents selected results of model and implementation research concerning the design of a management information system (MIS) to support the functioning of office administration offering sale of services. The application was tested with view to implementation in the Association for Promotion and Scientific Innovations Implementation (AP&SII or Association). The following issues were discussed: methods of organization management modelling, suitable software, available tools supporting modelling, methods of implementation of models in organization systems, etc. E-Bureau information system is an application developed using Eclipse platform with the following plug-ins installed, namely Data Base Development Tools and PHP Development Tools. The system is based on libraries, i.a. Zend, BootStrap, JQuery. The following programming tools were used: CSS, JavaScript, HTML, PHP.

Designing Website-Based Administration Management Information System

CoreID Journal

Administration is one of the essential things for the running of an organization. If in an organization the administrative management is good, the organization will also be able to run well. The current administration can be used for decision-making, evaluating the activities carried out, and even knowing whether or not the organization is being run. The same happened at the Informatics Management Student Association (HIMMI) at the Subang State Polytechnic campus. Administrative management that is carried out is still conventional by storing documents in several storage folders so that there is a buildup of documents. Even documents will be scattered everywhere. Making letters is still done by checking the last number on the general ledger, so it has difficulty to make letter numbers. The submission of letters is hampered because it takes a long time because goes through a fairly long flow. Therefore, a solution was found, namely the Design of a Website-Based Administration Manageme...

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (A STUDY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT, IMO STATE POLYTECHNIC, UMUAGWO

Information technology is a fast growing area of endeavor. It has had into all facets of life. Most organization cannot do without employing ICT in their day to day operation. In this work, a management information system has been designed for CST Computer Science Department, Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo. The objectives are to provide a more and simple means of handling and updating students/staffs records using PHP and MYSQL, and program were constructed to investigate the objectives. The program has been tested with life data and found effective, thereby confirming the objectives of the study. The significance is to turn paper documentation into computerized documentation and thereby reducing time wasting.
