Factors Affecting of Used Long Contraception Method to Women Reproductive at Public Health Centre Limau Asri Mimika Regency

Introduction: The planning family is act to helping family to plan the pregnant and natal they want. Method of long contraception in Indonesian is still low, caused of characteristic and husband as a factor with a choice the method contraception. Target of research: to knowing the factors affecting of used long contraception method to women reproductive at public health centre Limau Asri Mimika regency. Method Research: Analytic of observational with cross sectional study design. Research executed on May 2018 in Public health centre LIMAU ASRI with population is of acceptor amount of sample counted 92 people by purposive sampling. Data approach used questionnaire and analysed by Chi square test. Result of research : The factors are not affecting of choice method long contraception to women reproductive is age (p-value 0,318; RP = 1,378; CI95% (0,788-2,410), studies (p-value 0,591; RP = 1,190; CI95% (0,798-1,775), ethnic (p-value 0,984; RP = 0,959; CI95% (0,669-1,374), social economic (p-value 0,984; RP = 0,959; CI95% (0,669-1,374), parity (p-value 0,287; RP = 1,325; CI95% (0,834-2,103), knowledge (p-value 0,541; RP = 1,188; CI95% (0,815-1,730) and the sum of child (p-value 0,668; RP = 0,889; CI95% (0,614-1,287). And then there is affecting of choice method long contraception to women reproductive is husband participate (p-value 0,013; RP = 1,622; CI95% (1,150-2,287) and sexual frequency (p-value 0,000; RP = 0,450; CI95% (0,304-0,666).

The Factors Affecting to Selection of Long Term Contraception Method in Lush Age Couples in Prafi Health Primary Manokwari District West Papua Province

Background: the use of contraceptives helps couples of childbearing age in the setting of pregnancy and the use of more appropriate contraceptive tools to use short-term versus long-term contraception caused by various factors including age, education, ethnicity, social economy, parity, knowledge, health care facilities and husband's participation. Objective: To find out the factors that influences the selection of long-term contraceptive methods in couples of childbearing age at the Prafi Health Center in Manokwari Regency. Research Method: Analytical with cross sectional study design. The population is all acceptors in Prafi Health Center as many as 625 people and a sample of 86 people in September-October 2018 by systematic sampling. Data were obtained using questionnaires and analyzed using chi square and logistic regression. Results: Factors that influence the selection of long-term contraceptive methods in couples of childbearing age is parity (p-value 0,043; RP = 2,340; CI95% (1,014-5,398, knowledge (p-value 0.001 RP = 2.677; CI95% (1,516-4,727), health care facilities (p-value 0.006; Rp = 2,279; CI95% (1,369-3,796) and husband's participation (p-value 0,000; RP = 3,920; CI95% (1,901-8,081). While the factors that did not influence the selection of long-term contraceptive methods for couples of childbearing age were maternal age (p-value 0,228; RP = 1,853; CI95% (0,746-4,602), education (p-value 0,221; Rp. 0,490; CI95% (0,171-1,399), ethnicity (p-value 1,000 Rp = 0,956; CI95% (0,547-1,669), and socio economic (p-value 1,000 RP = 00,956; CI95% (0,547-1,669). The long-term contraceptive method is an effective method for preventing pregnancies. However, users of long-term contraceptive methods are considerably lower compared to those of non-long-term contraceptive methods in South Sulawesi. The research objective was to examine the determinants of choosing long-term contraceptive methods in South Sulawesi. This study used data from the 2017 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey by analyzing 583 married women who were using contraception in South Sulawesi. A descriptive analysis was employed to estimate the prevalence of long-term contraceptive methods. Meanwhile, the Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were used to identify the determinants of choosing long-term contraceptive methods. Factors Influencing the Use of Long-Term Contraceptive Methods at the Noemuti Health Center, North Central Timor District

Examining the factors that influence the utilization of Long-Term Contraceptive Methods (MKJP) at the Noemuti Health Center in the North Central Timor District is the purpose of this research. The principal issue is the inadequate utilization of MKJP, one of the safest and most effective contraceptives.This research employed a quantitative methodology and a crosssectional design. In 2021, the entire active family planning acceptor population at the Noemuti Health Center in North Central Timor Regency comprised the study population of 1,899 individuals. As indicated by the results, the proportion of the low education variable that utilized MHJP was 36.8%, whereas the high education variable accounted for 33.3%. In relation to the use of MHJP, the employment variable revealed that 43.9% of acceptors who were employed utilized MHJP, whereas the employment variable of those who were unemployed utilized MHJP. The statistical analysis indicated that age, occupation, and level of education did not have a statistically significant impact on the utilization of MHJP. Nevertheless, the hypothesis was validated as the statistical data revealed that mothers with a higher level of education exhibited a greater utilization of contraceptives. This research offers valuable insights that can be utilized to bolster the family planning initiative and promote greater utilization of MHJP in Puskesmas Noemuti, North Central Timor District.

Poor Knowledge and Nonuse of Long-Acting/Permanent Methods of Contraceptives in Six Districts in Indonesia

This analysis aimed at examining the association between the level of knowledge about long-acting/permanent methods of contraceptives (LAPM) and nonuse of LAPM among currently married, nonpregnant, and fecund women aged 15 to 49 years intending to limit childbearing. Data were derived from a cross-sectional study in Tuban, Kediri, and Lumajang District (East Java Province) and Lombok Barat, Lombok Timur, and Sumbawa District (Nusa Tenggara Barat Province) in June 2012. Information was obtained from 4323 respondents. Using multivariate logistic regression, we found that women with moderate levels of LAPM knowledge were less likely to use LAPM than women with high levels of knowledge (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] = 2.01, 95% CI = 1.51-2.68). Women with low level of LAPM knowledge were less likely to use LAPM than women with high levels of knowledge (aOR = 4.25, 95% CI = 3.37-5.36).
