The Job Satisfaction Questionnaire devised by Balcı (1985) was used to determine the JS levels of teachers, while the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire devised by Meyer and Allen (1990) was used to determine teachers' OC levels. In order to determine whether the participants' attitudes change at the 0.05 level one way ANOVA was conducted. To understand the reason of the variation, Scheffe-F was applied and in order to determine if there is a significant relationship between the factors of JS and OC bivariate correlation (Pearson-r) was performed. The results of this study, which was conducted in order to determine the JS and OC levels of elementary school teachers, reveal that the teachers' JS levels are "medium" while their OC levels are "high." The group with the highest JS and OC levels is the paid teachers, while contractedteachers have the lowest levels. It is also observed that the teachers' CC levels were "medium" and AC levels were "very high" among the OC factors, and there is no significant difference among the groups.
