In this article, we describe and analyze the discussion of the celebration of the Lords Supper in the Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church during the pandemic 2020-21. We notice that the Lutheran World Federation as well the Swedish and Norwegian bishops expressed or recommended a no to any attempts at a digital celebration of the Lords Supper. We also emphasize that most Danish pastors were spontaneously careful in their practice and hesitated towards the attempt at a digital celebration. Nonetheless, some Danish bishops seemed to assume that this was possible and their assumption became the beginning of a discussion in a few Danish media, primarily in Kristeligt Dagblad. In the article, we analyze this Danish discussion in the context of the confessional writings of the Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church and argue for a hesitating position that calls for more research. Ulighed i sundhed – en særlig nordisk udfordring?

Ulighed i sundhed er af Bo Konberg blevet loftet frem som et saerligt nordisk samarbejdsomrade. Den nordiske velfaerdsstat star og falder med en hoj beskaeftigelse, men ulighed i sundhed handler om en alt staerkere kobling mellem kort uddannelse, ingen eller usikker beskaeftigelse og darligt helbred. Og det skaber vanskeligheder for den velfaerdsstat som med sociale investeringer vil satse pa en sund og veluddannet befolkning. For uddannelse haemmes af darligt helbred og rehabilitering haemmes af en darlig uddannelse. Sociale investeringer kan oge den sociale mobilitet men om ikke ulighed i levevilkar mindskes, sa handler social mobilitet om lige muligheder til at opna ulige levevilkar og helbred. Og om ikke ressourcer til skole og sundhedsvaesen fordeles mere efter behov og mindre i forhold til eftersporgsel kan den onde cirkel af kort uddannelse, darlig helbred og usikker beskaeftigelse ikke brydes.

Udløst af den finansielle krise er de nordiske lande nu ramt af en konjunkturel krise, der også medfører faldende beskaeftigelse. Men yderligere er beskaeftigelsen praeget af mere grundlaeggende strukturelle forandringer. De vigtigste er forandringer i internationale arbejdsdeling, ny teknologi og ny organisering af arbejdet, demografiske aendringer, samt en klimadagsorden, som skaber nye og anderledes perspektiver for vaekst og beskaeftigelse. Det er alle forhold, som forandrer jobmulighederne i Norden. Den aktuelle finansielle og beskaeftigelsesmaessige krise har skabt nye udfordringer på kort sigt, men aendrer ikke ved de langsigtede konsekvenser af de strukturelle forandringer.

Organized crime was imported to Denmark within a few years during the 1990s when well-known forms of crime were redefined as organized crime. This article describes how organized crime was constructed as a social and criminal problem and how a certain, broad understanding of organized crime was institutionalized. The vehicle for the introduction of the concept organized crime and the implementation of organized crime as a phenomenon in Denmark was - on one hand - the growth of outlaw motorcycle gangs and - on the other hand - the increasing European Union cooperation in the legal field.
