The demand and use of mobile phones, PDAs and smart phones are constantly on the rise as such, manufacturers of these devices are improving the technology and usability of these devices constantly. Due to the handy shape and size these devices come in, their processing capabilities and functionalities, they are preferred by many over the conventional desktop or laptop computers. Mobile devices are being used today to perform most tasks that a desktop or laptop computer could be used for. On this premise, mobile devices are also used to connect to the resources of cloud computing hence, mobile cloud computing (MCC). The seemingly ubiquitous and pervasive nature of most mobile devices has made it acceptable and adequate to match the ubiquitous and pervasive nature of cloud computing. Mobile cloud computing is said to have increased the challenges known to cloud computing due to the security loop holes that most mobile devices have.

Few years later with the broad development in mobile applications and advancements in cloud computing, a new expansion is being expected in the form of mobile cloud computing (MCC). MCC provides a platform where mobile users make use of cloud services on mobile devices. The use of MCC minimizes the performance, compatibility, and lack of resources issues in mobile computing environment. Despite the astonishing advancement achieved by MCC, the users of MCC are still below expectations because of the associated risks in terms of security and privacy. These risks are playing important role by preventing the organizations to adopt MCC environment. Significant amount of research is in progress in order to reduce the security concerns but still a lot work has to be done to produce a security prone MCC environment. This paper presents a comprehensive literature review of MCC and its security issues and challenges.

Simplicity usage, accessibility and the lack of internationally agreed overall service access / safety protocols allow the mobile cloud vulnerable to various forms of violence. The introduction of smartphones and the extensive usage of other technology such as smartphones has brought significant changes to cloud storage, providing a higher level of versatility in data access, and thus increasing the need for security protocols. Unlike many problems, when dealing with business goals, financial activity and health care, protection and confidentiality are critical. In this study, we discuss mobile cloud computing in detail, then the model and role of the whole technology. Finally, we dragged some solutions for the three-level security and privacy concerns.
Secure Mobile-Cloud Framework - Implementation on the Mobile Device

Secure Mobile-Cloud is a framework proposed to secure the data transmitted between the components of a mobile cloud application. In addition, the framework, takes into account the following aspects: 1) the users options regarding the security level required for private data and 2) the device energy consumption. The framework includes several distributed components. Some of these components are deployed on the mobile device and some of them in Cloud. This paper is focused on the implementation of the Secure Mobile-Cloud framework components on the mobile device. A proof of concept Android prototype is proposed.

Cloud computing is a popular technology that provides services to the users on demand and on pay-per-usage fee that is they only pay for the data utilized when required. With the vast growth in the use of mobile phone applications, the users are relying on their phones for their personal as well as professional work and suffering from many problems (storage, processing, security etc). To overcome these limitations and growth in the use of cloud applications, a new development area has emerged recently called as Mobile cloud computing. Mobile cloud computing is an integration of three technologies cloud computing, mobile computing and internet, enabling the users to access the services at any time and from any place. Mobile phones are sensitive devices and the personal data is not secured when user stores data on cloud and can be easily attacked by unauthorized person. This paper presents a high level authentication and encryption model through a mobile application that encrypts the data before moving it to the cloud that ensures the security and the strong user authentication.
