Tourism Supply Chain (TSC) becomes an important issue when dealing with the sustainability of a tourist destination. Since a tourist destination has to collaborate, coordinate, and build partnership with suppliers, TSC plays a major role in achieving long-term success amidst highly competitive market. Village Owned Enterprises are business entities that have a dual identity, namely as a social institution (social institution) and at the same time commercial (commercial institution). Based on that identity, it is classified as a social enterprise. This research aims to find out the application of supply chain to social enterprise. The research was conducted on a Village Owned Enterprise in corn farming activities. The study uses qualitative research methods, with data collection through in-depth interviews and observations. The results showed that the supply chain carried out by The Pakandangan Village Owned Enterprises has been well implemented in order to create community welfare and grow the community economy. This research provides implications that supply chain management in Pakandangan Village Owned Enterprises can minimize the risk of loss in corn farming businesses. In addition, the practice of supply chain management in Social Enterprise has a positive social impact on the community through community involvement as part of the supply chain. Supply chain management for Social Enterprise helps business to control the risk, especially social and environmental risk.
Supply Chain Management Values for the Society In A Community-Based Tourism Village

This research aims to describe the values of supply chain management that develop in a tourism village that is managed through the community-based tourism (CBT) model. This is qualitative research with ethnographic design. The data of the present research were collected through indepth interviews, observation, and documentation. The resource persons of the research were tourism village managers and traders in Papringan Market, Temanggung, Central Java, Indonesia. To ensure the trustworthiness of the research data, source triangulation analysis and participant observation were performed. Several steps were involved in data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the values of supply chain management found in Papringan Market traders included: (1) Self-knowledge, the traders already knew about the business and carried out their own production and marketing processes, (2) Search skills, the traders could easily get raw materials for their business and implemented an effective marketing system to attract customers, (3) Computation skills, traders prepared themselves with the risks that would come. They did not only focus on sales in the Papringan Market but also have other jobs, 4) Practical knowledge, the traders had understood enough to make innovations in their business, but the changes were not significant, 5) Communication skills, communication between sellers and consumers in the Papringan Market was well-established and conducive, even among fellow traders and market managers, 6) Imagination, traders had insufficient idea and imagination to develop their products because they still relied on market demand, 7) Foresight, traders still followed the flow of the Papringan Market and did not yet have thoughts or idea for their products in the future.

This research discusses the strategy of developing a Tapis craft tourism village and the tourism supply chain in Negeri Katon village, Pesawaran district. The purpose of this study is to identify tourism potential and formulate strategies for developing Tapis craft tourism villages and tourism supply chains. The method used in this study is to use SWOT analysis which includes IFAS, EFAS, IE and SWOT matrices. Based on the results of the research conducted, there are several tourism potentials that can be developed. The IFAS matrix analysis produces 5 strengths and 4 weaknesses, while based on the EFAS matrix analysis there are 3 opportunities and 2 threats. Supply chain tourism has become one of the world's major travel activities. In Sabah, it is one of the main contributors to the state's economy as most travellers visiting Sabah will engage in this type of tourism. In order to acknowledge the services and activities offered, a study was carried out to determine the local Sabahan visitors' perception toward the supply chain tourism activities offered at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. In addition, the study highlighted the impacts of those supply chain activities on the island's environment. A self-administrated questionnaire was used as the main data collection tool. It was distributed to local visitors on four islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, namely Manukan, Mamutik, Sapi and Gaya Island. The results of the study indicated that most of the local Sabahan visitors were aware of the existence of supply chain tourism activities, and they were satisfied with the services offered at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. The study also revealed that the supply chain activities would not bring harm to the environment as they perceived the activities would bring benefit to the economy. However, there is an urgency to improve the amenities and signage on the islands involved. This current study is beneficial for policymakers and tourism operators in Malaysia, particularly Sabah. The study's findings have given perceptive evidence and data for Sabah Park management and Sabah Tourism Board to outline promotional approaches that can entice more tourists to visit the island in future and to sustain the islands' environment for the long term.

Stable supply of agricultural products into tourism business is a key for the both sectors to sustainably grow together; however, rural farmers still face challenges in effectuating such a goal. The current research addresses how agri-supply chain exists in tourism market and issues on such a chain in Cambodia through a case study in Northeastern Region. The triangulation methods were employed. Surveys were conducted on farmers, hotels/restaurants and vegetable sellers, whereas semi-structured interviews were done with middlemen, community chiefs, NGOs and local authorities. The farms of Koh Trong are operated with family labors. Most farmers do not have advanced knowledge on farming techniques. Little pesticides are applied, while chemical fertilizers are most commonly used. A Study of Indigenous Tourism Product Development Case Study: The Baduy, South Banten, West Java

This phenomenon occurs in one of the indigenous village of Baduy tribes, where the village is "isolated" from modern development of urban areas. The data have been collected are then combined using two approaches both quantitative and qualitative or known as a "multi-method". Data obtained through questionnaires was presented by the chart (in the form of quantitative), and described into a sentence. This study found that the Baduy village has a variety of potential that can be packaged as a tourism product, such as: have the cultural and natural attractions that still maintained its authenticity, a location away from the frenetic urban communities began receiving tourism activities. Surveys in this study also found that, variables such as cultural tourism products, local communities and nature is considered very important and can attract urban travelers. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire, where tourists visiting Baduy village, dominated by teenagers who mostly still a student and travel in groups. While the motivation of their visit was mostly to leisure in a way out of the urban routine. The effects of tourism activities on the socio-cultural environment, the economy and the environment have not seen significantly. Determinant Factors in Managing Tourism Village

Studies on destination attributes mainly focused on the motivation or experience of tourists and their relation to these attributes. Therefore, in-depth reports are required to fully understand tourism villages as destinations, particularly in relation to the factors that contribute to their success. This study aimed to (1) identify tourism products in tourism villages, (2) identify the determinants of tourism destination attributes, and (3) recommend efforts to improve the management of destination attributes in developing as tourism villages. The contribution of the Indonesian tourism industry in gross-domestic product (GDP) is below than other developing countries. According to the statistics, hospitality and tourism industry of Indonesia has low contribution in GDP.
