In the present manuscript, we prove some results concerning the existence of solutions for some nonlinear functional-integral equations which contains various integral and functional equations that considered in nonlinear analysis and its applications. By utilizing the techniques of noncompactness measures, we operate the fixed point theorems such as Darbo's theorem in Banach algebra concerning the estimate on the solutions. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve essentially some known results in the recent literature. We also provide an example of nonlinear functional-integral equation to show the ability of our main result.

Filomat, 2017
In the present paper, utilizing the techniques of suitable measures of noncompactness in Banach algebra, we prove an existence theorem for nonlinear functional-integral equation which contains as particular cases several integral and functional-integral equations that appear in many branches of nonlinear analysis and its applications. We employ the fixed point theorems such as Darbo?s theorem in Banach algebra concerning the estimate on the solutions. We also provide a nontrivial example that explains the generalizations and applications of our main result.

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2009
We prove an existence theorem for a nonlinear integral equation which is a Volterra counterpart of an integral equation arising in traffic theory. Using the technique of the measure of noncompactness in Banach algebra, we prove an existence theorem for a nonlinear functional-integral equation. Basic fixed point theorems such as Darbo's theorem are employed to obtain the aforementioned aims in Banach algebra.
On Some Nonlinear Alternatives of Leray-Schauder Type and Functional Integral Equations
2006
In this paper, some new fixed point theorems concerning the nonlinear alternative of Leray-Schauder type are proved in a Banach algebra. Applications are given to nonlinear functional integral equations in Banach algebras for proving the existence results. Our results of this paper comple- ment the results that appear in Granas et. al. (12) and Dhage and Regan (10).
Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2011
Motivated by the recent known results about the solvability and existence of asymptotically stable solutions for nonlinear functional integral equations in spaces of functions defined on unbounded intervals with values in the n-dimensional real space, we establish asymptotically stable solutions for a nonlinear functional integral equation in the space of all continuous functions on R + with values in a general Banach space, via a fixed point theorem of Krasnosel'skii type. In order to illustrate the result obtained here, an example is given.
On a fixed point theorem in Banach algebras with applications
Applied Mathematics Letters, 2005
In this article it is shown that some of the hypotheses of a fixed point theorem of the present author [B.C. Dhage, On some variants of Schauder's fixed point principle and applications to nonlinear integral equations, J. Math. Phys. Sci. 25 (1988) 603-611] involving two operators in a Banach algebra are redundant. Our claim is also illustrated with the applications to some nonlinear functional integral equations for proving the existence results.
On existence of extremal solutions of nonlinear functional integral equations in Banach algebras
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Stochastic Analysis, 2004
An algebraic fixed point theorem involving the three operators in a Banach algebra is proved using the properties of cones and they are further applied to a certain nonlinear integral equations of mixed typex(t)=k(t,x(μ(t)))+[f(t,x(θ(t)))](q(t)+∫0σ(t)v(t,s)g(s,x(η(s)))ds)for proving the existence of maximal and minimal solutions. Our results include the earlier fixed point theorems of Dhage (1992 and 1999) as special cases with a different but simple method.
Fixed Point Theory, 2017
This paper is devoted to the study of a coupled system of nonlinear functional integral equations in suitable Banach algebras. This system is reduced to a fixed point problem for a 2 × 2 block operator matrix with nonlinear inputs. Hence, certain assumptions on its entries are given under a weak topology setting. These assumptions involve in particular the De Blasi measure of weak noncompactness in order to ensure the existence of solutions.
On the solvability of some nonlinear functional integral equations on Lp(R+)
Filomat, 2021
In this paper, we prove theorems on the existence of solutions in Lp(R+), 1 ? p < ?, for some functional integral equations. The basic tool used in the proof is the fixed point theorem due to Darbo with respect to so called measure of noncompactness. The obtained results generalize and extend several ones obtained earlier in many papers and monographs. An example which shows the applicability of our results is also included.
