The feed forward back propogation algorithm, Levenburg-Marquardt Algorithm (LMA) and Radial Basis functions(RBF) of ANN is used to design the parameter of Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna(RMPA). The results obtained from training and testing of data are very close to each other and shows good agreement with the results available and obtained from formulae. Here models of ANN have been used in the field of electromagnetics of microstrip patch antenna as the most powerful optimizing tools. With the help of this analysis model, we get the accurate value of resonant frequency with width and length of RMPA.
Design and Analysis of Microstrip Patch Antennas Using Artificial Neural Network
2017
The microstrip patch antenna can also be designed using an artificial neural network (ANN) modeling technique where size of the antenna is major limitation especially in mobile and wireless applications. In this chapter, analysis and synthesis problems for designing of microstrip patch antennas were discussed using the artificial neural network technique. An analysis problem refers to calculation of resonant frequency of microstrip patch antenna whereas a synthesis problem refers to calculation of dimensions of patch antenna. Both problems are reciprocal of each other. Results are implemented using graphical user interface (GUI) tools of MATLAB programming language. Backpropagation training algorithm of artificial neural network is used to train the network for minimization of error and computation time. Therefore, the geometric dimensions of patch are obtained with high accuracy in less computation time as compared to simulation software.

Both models have been used in the field of computational electro magnetics of patch antenna as the most powerful optimizing tools. With the help of analysis model, we get the accurate value of resonant frequency while synthesis model helps to get the accurate value of width Wand length L of MSA.
CALCULATION OF MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNA PARAMETERS USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK
In this paper, a comparison of Microstrip patch antenna parameters returns loss, VSWR and directivity between using HFSS Software and Artificial Neural Network. In this antenna achieved four resonant frequency 3.5 GHz, 6 GHz, 6.9 GHz and 8.9GHz using substrate material Fr-4 Glass epoxy substrate with using co-axial feeding technique. An ANN has been developed for the calculation of return loss, VSWR and directivity of resonant microstrip antenna using MATLAB and compare with HFSS's antenna parameters. The resonated frequencies lies in S, C and X bands. Results of the ANN network are compared with the data obtained from HFSS software and concluded that ANN results are in good agreement as compared to HFSS.
Design of Rectangular Patch Antenna Using MLP Artificial Neural Network
This paper presents the designing of a rectangular microstrip antenna using Multi Layer Preceptron (MLP) neural network model. The model was trained for 40 set of input-output (length of patch-resonant frequency) parameters. The output error and time delay (no. of epochs) were optimized by changing the learning rate and momentum term. In case of testing the output of the present model (resonant frequency) is found in good agreement with theoretical results.

This paper, different neural network models has been used to estimation of resonance frequency of a coaxial feed L-shaped Microstrip patch Antenna. The 6 Different training algorithms of Multi-Layer Feed forward back Propagation (MLFFBP) and RBF network have been used to implement the neural network model. The aim of the study is determine of physical parameters without any mathematical expressions. Compared the results of different neural network for MLFFBP training algorithm and Radial Basis Function (RBF). Number of neurons and number of hidden layer is also carried out for estimating the resonance frequency. The method of moment (MOM) based IE3D software was used to generate data dictionary for training and validation set of ANN. The results obtain using ANN are compared with simulation feeding and found quite satisfactory.

In this paper, we propose a general design of rectangular microstrip antenna with and without rectangular aperture over ground plane, based on artificial neural networks (ANN) in conjunction with spectral domain formulation. In the design procedure, syntheses ANN model is used as feed forward network to determine the resonant frequency and bandwidth. Analysis ANN model is used as the reversed of the problem to calculate the antenna and aperture dimensions for the given resonant frequency, dielectric constant and height of substrate. The spectral domain formulation combined with artificial neural network in the analysis and the design of rectangular antenna to reduce the complexity of the spectral approach and to minimize the CPU time necessary to obtain the numerical results. The results obtained from the neural models are in very good agreement with the experimental results available in the literature.
