The main purpose of this study was to examine the factors militating against teacher’s performance in secondary school. Four(4) research questions were formulated to guide this study. The questionnaire was used for data collection from teachers. The analysis was done using frequency and percentage. It was found that: Poor classroom management, poor communication, poor salary and unfavorable condition of service, lack of content knowledge, lack of enthusiasm, lack of effective school administration and conducive work environment, teachers' family problems, and discouraging behaviors by students are all factors that can make a teacher not to perform effectively in secondary schools. It was then recommended that teachers be motivated by their employees through a favorable salary structure, teachers should ensure to be enthusiastic about teaching and they should develop themselves for optimal productivity

The study was for elementary school teachers to review their work and to plan how they can help to solve the problems of teachers facing advocacy of effective training for a teacher facing major challenges to deliver the knowledge and ability to support the success of the students. Teachers with low level of teaching work in a bad attitude. This study examined the challenges faced by teachers in improving teaching performance for elementary schools. The study was conducted in Tehsil Gujranwala. All elementary schools of Qila Didar Singh were the population of this study. The sample of the study was all (6) schools of study area. All teachers were the sample of the study. There are total 72 teachers in selected schools. Data were collected by using a well-structured interview schedule. The data were analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Teachers have to deal overcrowded classes (83%) and burden of extra responsibilities (77%) from head teachers is also a problem for them. In this context, behavior of head teachers and administration was also faced by the teachers. In Pakistan teachers do not have the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and there are no refresher courses introduced according to the need of teachers. Further teachers use audio visual aids (81%) in the class but the time of classes were short and not according to the course contents. Proper physical facilities: computer (36%), internet, library (34%), inadequate instructional resources (44%) for teaching and laboratories are not available. However, some factors that influence the performance of the teachers were syllabus was not according to their interest, instructional resources, overcrowded classroom, limited resources for activities, ineffective communication, stress due to wrong distribution of subjects, school administration, official problems, proper rules and regulations, poor infrastructure, social activities of school, extra-curricular activities, communication skills of student, parents involvement in school, improper use of teaching aids and school discipline.

Factors Affecting Teacher Performance at Junior High Schools in DKI Jakarta, Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to determine the most dominant factors that affect the performance of teachers in the teaching process. The study population is a public high school teacher who located in DKI Jakarta. The number of questionnaires distributed and received by respondents was 215 questionnaires then returned only about 175 questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analyzed data with the help of IBM SPSS program. Teacher performance variable (Y) as the dependent variable, during teacher attitude (X1) and quality of supervision (X2) as the independent variable. Analysis of Factors Affecting Teacher Performance in State Junior High School Learning in Bengkalis Regency

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of teachers in learning SMP Negeri in Bengkalis Regency. The population sample in this study is amounted to 56 people. They are all teachers who are Civil Servants who teach at Bengkalis Regency Public Junior High Schools consisting of Public Junior High Schools in Bukit Batu District and State Junior High Schools in Bandar Laksamana District. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative and path analysis. Factors affecting teacher performance

This study aimed to see whether there is an influence of school principal leadership, organizational culture, and teacher competence on teacher performance. Another aim was to see how much influence these factors have on teacher performance either partially or simultaneously. The research used a quantitative approach with survey methods. Analysis of the data used was multiple regression. Participants involved in the study were 385 teachers in Bandung high school by using proportional stratified random sampling. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence on the school principal leadership variables, organizational culture, and teacher competence on teacher performance. Statistically the amount of contribution from all independent variables was 68.12%, so the remaining 32.88% was determined by other variables not measured in the study. This research was also useful to find out the factors that can improve teacher performance, so that it is expected to be a theoretical or practical consideration in schools in order to improve the quality of teachers and schools.

Teachers are the main key to improving the quality of education because an important requirement for the realization of quality education is if its implementation is carried out by professionally reliable educators. The aim of this research is to evaluate and explain the effect of educational supervision and work environment on the performance of high school teachers in IlirTimur II Palembang. The way used is the quantitative descriptive way used to procedure the characteristics of the information related to the common number, look for percentages, and present attention-grabbing, easy-to-read data. Data within the form of a questionnaire is classed as quantitative data. The methodology of amassing data in this analysis is through a questionnaire. (1) There is a positive and important effect of educational supervision on the performance of highschool lecturers in IlirTimur II Palembang, according to the findings. This is also shown by the tcount of five.489, (2) There is a positive and important influence of the painting environment on the success of high school academics in IlirTimur II Palembang. The Effect of Teachers, Work Environment, and Work Satisfaction on the Performance of IPS Teachers of the Demak Regency

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a positive influence on teacher competence, work environment and job satisfaction on the performance of social studies teachers in the simultaneous learning process at Demak State Middle School. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research because it uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on its classification, this study included a correlation study.
