This research discusses various beliefs in the Islamic faith that may be incorporated into the counseling process, focusing on a cognitive behavioral (cbt) restructuring model. However, this study explores to investigate the effects of this integrated cbt and Islamic faiths model on the male students have a religious education and state anxiety levels of this male students, trait anxiety levels, automatic thoughts and the Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI) measured by the symptoms. In the research investigated the effects of this integrated model, using the exploring model which is a special type of commonly used 2X2 mixed patterns to a pre-testpost-test control group (split-plot) experimental design method in the form of group counseling sessions. Research participants, 14 university students in higher religious education are selected from 93 students between the ages of 18-30, and who live in the province of Istanbul (Turkey) and accepted to participate as a volunteer. These students have been selected as a result of the pre-test measurements of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Automatic Thoughts Scale (SAS) and the Brief Symptom Inventory. For statistical tests, the level of significance p <0.05 was adopted. Analysis of the data obtained from the study, parametric tests for the implementation of the minimum sample size should be 30 motion, it was decided to use non-parametric tests. Analysis of the data and the Mann-Whitney U test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used in this analysis, the computer "SPSS for Windows 17:00" performed with statistical software package. As a result of this study, the model applied to the experimental group subjects lead to decreased levels of state and trait anxiety was observed. Practices have been observed to reduce the incidence of automatic thoughts in the same way. However, the pre-test and post-test measurements at BSI declined significantly.
