The present study revealed about the physicians perspective towards ICT application in the central library of NEIGRIHMS, Meghalaya. Medical library has been developing day by day in this technological epoch. The present study was limited only for physicians both in clinical and non clinical sections. The study was conducted by simple random sampling and data were collected by using questionnaire method from the physicians. It was noticed that 85% respondents provided responses and the received responses were analyzed and tabulated in various sections. Public library is the nerve of the education and culture and the National Library is in core center in the system and it has resulted ongoing changes in a society’s economy, education, policy, tradition and religion.In the public library system, National Library is the apex library and extensive use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in its housekeeping operations and activities has tremendously impacted the type of services delivered by public libraries in the society. In present study the ICT based library services provided in a public library has been discussed with special reference to the National Library of India. The paper also explores the possibility of introducing other modern ICT based user services where the National Library can initiate those facilities to its users. The main objective of this study is to examine the services provided by National Library of India to its esteemed users.
Information Technology Application in Health Science Libraries: a study of Delhi

The present study covers the changing scenario of libraries with the application of Information Technology. The application of IT is widely visible on every function of the library. The present study deals with the use of IT in different sections of the libraries and also highlights the condition of Human power, gender analysis, qualification and experience of staff, collection development and the infrastructural facilities of Health Science Libraries under study. The results reveal that most of the staff members of libraries are qualified and find that the IT has changed the entire functioning of the libraries and has improved our efficiency.

This study deals with utilizing available information resources and services among users of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Central Library of Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari, Bihar, with special reference to Information Communication Technology (ICT) applications. The study's major objectives are to know the users' frequency of library visits, the purpose of their library visit, identify users' satisfaction levels regarding library resources and services, find out the major problems encountered by the users, and know the users' suggestions etc. The study was conducted through a questionnaire-based survey method. The primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire which was circulated randomly among 120 library users. The data has been analyzed using standard statistical techniques based on filled-up questionnaires. The study reveals that the majority of users visit the library almost daily and spend at least one hour in the library. The maximum percentage of users visit the library for the purpose of issuing & returning the books. Most of the users are familiar with the information resources and services of the library. But, a lot of users are not satisfied with available information resources and ICT-based services at the library. This study is unique and new because very few studies have been conducted on this newly established Central Library of MGCU. Thus, it is an effort to fill the gap and study the utilization of information resources and services from users' perspectives. This study will be also helpful for other academic libraries to provide better ICT-based services to their users and fulfil their information resources and services need.

The study investigated the ICT based library and Information services: a case study of B-schools in Delhi and NCR region. The present study demonstrates and elaborates the primary way to learn about ICTs, the purpose of using ICT enabled library services, to assess to what extent users are utilized ICT based library services and facilities, various aspects of Internet usage, favorite search engines, and problems faced by the users in using the ICT in libraries. The papers also determine the satisfaction level of users regarding research work, online database services and infrastructure facilities. Suggestions have been given to make the service more beneficial in the library users of B-schools in Delhi and NCR region.

Use of Biomedical Information Centres & Libraries in India in Digital Era
The present paper is centred on status of biomedical Information Centres & Libraries (ICLs) in India in modern digital era when application of ICTs has changed the structure of information resources as well as library services. The use of Internet and existence of information in clouds has changed the information search and access by people. Due to availability of less research works on the specified subject, there is a need of study to support the library professionals in the field. The study is based on a survey at 95% confidence level and 5% confidence interval. Questionnaire has been used as a tool to collect the data and Microsoft Excel used for data analysis. Library visits were found moderate by respondents, but it stand an important place for getting information and reading by users. Availability of information online everywhere has minimised the visits to the biomedical libraries for most of the users. Poor library resources and services prove obstruction to visits to libraries in very few incidents. Libraries were found largest subscription sources for both printed and electronic than subscriptions by own or colleagues/friends.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was conducted to find out the realistic about the user’s utilization and satisfaction level of Central library of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS), Gangtok, Sikkim, India. The user’s satisfaction of a library totally depends upon the utilization of library resources and services. Methodology: For the required queries a questionnaire was prepared for the present study and it was distributed among 120 SMIMS students randomly. Findings: The study exposed that students use the library for browsing e-resources and borrow books as per their need. From the students responses it was clear that users give preferences on accessing e-resources than printed material.
