The importance of ethical dimension of leadership is a fact accepted by everyone. In spite of this, very few empirical studies have been carried out on this issue in the field of educational administration considering the significance of ethical values in leadership. This study was carried out to investigate vocational high school teachers' perceptions about their principals' ethical leadership behaviors. The study was conducted using the survey method and perceptions' of the teachers working at vocational and technical schools located in the center of Yozgat regarding their principals' ethical leadership behaviors were tried to be determined. According to the findings of the study the teachers agreed that the school principals often performed ethical leadership behaviours.
Impact of Teachers' Ethical Leadership Behaviour: A Students' Perspective

Good leaders are known for their guidance, inspiration, motivation and for providing direction to the followers towards the right directions of life whether in social or in work life. They act as facilitators and mentors for guiding followers' behaviour and actions. The ethical component of leadership behaviour makes their job more answerable towards actions and decisions they take. The Ethical leadership behaviour focuses on constructive use of social power in making decisions, taking good actions and positively influencing followers. This paper is an attempt to understand the concept of ethical leadership, its key elements and student's perception on ethical leadership behaviour towards their teachers in their academic organizations and also the way it influences their attitude towards actions and decisions they take. This is an empirical research study based on student's perceptions studying in institutes of western Uttar Pradesh including Mathura, Agra and Aligarh region. Weighted average agreement score was used for analysis of the data. The findings suggest students have a mixed feeling regarding exhibiting the art of ethical leadership by their teachers and hence this paper underlines the need for improving the ethical leadership skills in contemporary scenario.
Ethical Leadership Behaviours of School Administrators from Teachers' Point of View

The main objective of this study is to determine the degree of ethical leadership behaviours of school administrators according to teachers' opinions. As a quantitative research, this study was carried out in the academic year of 2010-2011 with 371 teachers who were employed in elementary schools. Ethical Leadership Questionnaire developed by Langlois (2007) has been used in the research. Findings of study reveal that as the year of seniority increases, more teachers think that administrators act within the ethical standards. Teachers' opinions about school administrators' ethical leadership behaviours do not differentiate according to the teachers' gender variable. However; in terms of branch variable, a significant difference is observed in teachers' opinions about their school administrators' ethical leadership behaviours when they faced with an ethical problem. Class teachers' opinions are more positive than branch teachers' opinions regarding school administrators' ethical leadership behaviours. Results indicate that teachers think that their school administrators often faced with an ethical dilemma while deciding upon personnel issues. This study concludes that establishing written ethical codes for school administrators may help them to make decisions with integrity, fairness, and in a more ethical manner especially about personnel issues.

To make this happen, teachers must work well, hard, passionately and professionally. Teachers are obliged to guide their students to become whole individuals who have good knowledge, skills and attitudes. Teachers must create reliable generations of the nation to build the Indonesian nation into a developed country. Therefore, teachers are obliged to improve performance in order to create quality work from the teacher, so as to produce quality students. In essence, teacher performance is the behavior produced by a teacher in carrying out his duties as an educator and teacher when teaching in front of a class, according to certain criteria. The performance of a teacher will be seen in daily working situations and conditions. Performance can be seen in the aspect of activities in carrying out tasks and how to carry out these tasks. Teacher performance is the ability and effort of teachers to carry out learning tasks as well as possible in planning teaching programs, implementing learning activities and evaluating learning outcomes. This study aimed to analyze the teachers' expectations related to the school principals' ethical behaviors and the frequency of the school principals' performing ethical leadership behaviors based on the teachers' perceptions. Data were collected through the Teacher Ethical Expectation Scale (ÖEBÖ) and School Principal's Performing Ethical Leadership Scale (PELBS) which were developed by the researchers for the aim of this research. The sample of the study consisted of 541 participant teachers selected from the population of the teachers working at public schools located in Sakarya, province of Turkey, during the 2018-2019 academic year. According to the teachers' perceptions, it was found that the teachers' expectations of the school principals' ethical behaviors and the frequency of the principals' performing ethical leadership behaviors were quite high. It was also seen that there was a significant positive relationship at a low level because of the path analysis, which was done to predict the school principals' performing ethical behaviors through the teachers' expectations on ethical behaviors. It was concluded that the ethical behaviors from the school principals expected by the teachers as the independent variable were seen to explain 8.6% of the variance in ethical behaviors performed by the school principals as the dependent variable. Ethical Leadership Behaviors of School Principals from Teachers’ Perspectives in Hafr Al Batin

The purpose of this study is to highlight the significance of ethical leadership in educational institutions and explore the teachers' perception concerning the ethical leadership behaviors of school principals. This study is conducted with a quantitative approach using a survey method and was limited to (437) teachers who worked at public and private schools in Hafr Al Batin city in Saudi Arabia. The survey consisting of 36 items was used to investigate teachers' perceptions about their principals' ethical leadership behaviors. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, such as percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results have shown that the level of ethical leadership, including justice, powersharing, clarity of roles, people orientation, integrity, and ethical guidance, is high at the significance level of α<0.05 from the teachers' perspective in Hafr Al Batin. The results are discussed, and the recommendations are made based upon the data analysis and conclusion.
School Leaders’ Practice of the Ethics of Educational Leadership to Make Decisions

This study aimed to investigate the extent to which school leaders practice the ethics of educational leadership to make decisions. A mixed-methods research design was used in this study. The quantitative data of this study were obtained from the participation of 260 teachers, and the qualitative data of this study were collected from nine school leaders. The questionnaire and the semi-structured interview were used to collect the data. The study was conducted during the school year of 2017-2018. The study found that the overall extent to which school leaders practice the ethics of educational leadership to make decisions was classified as “always occurs". The purpose of this study was to determine the nature and level of ethical leadership as perceived by teachers in a sample of private and government secondary schools in Addis Ababa. The purpose was also to determine the role of dimensions of ethical leadership and teacher and school factors in explaining ethical leadership. A descriptive survey research design was adopted as it suitably describes data and characteristics about the population of interest and construct of ethical leadership being studied. The study was also correlational/explanatory because it sought to see relationships among constructs of ethical leadershipUsing a piloted valid and reliable ethical leadership scale and multiple regression five constructs and school and treachery factors are used to predict ethical leadership assessments and the role of the individual predictors such as the scale dimensions and teacher factors (age, gender, work experience and qualification) and school factors (school individuality and school ownership).Based on findings from 210 valid questionnaires the ethical leadership scores while in general positive were in individual schools different at a level of statistical significance. The study further showed there was a systematic difference based on ownership with school leaders in private schools receiving more generous ratings.Besides demonstrating significant inter-factor relationships the four factors of behavioral ethics, decision-making ethics, communication ethics and climate ethics were important predictors of ethical leadership perceptions/The study considered school and teacher factors (gender, age, qualification and teaching experience) to find out their contribution but this was limited. Recommendations for further research are indicated.
Teachers’ views about ethical leadership behaviors of primary school directors

The aim of this study is to find out whether private and public primary schools directors show ethical behavior. In the research survey method was used. The data was collected with "Ethical Leadership Scale". T-test was used for the analysis of data, the significance of data was found to be .05. The result of the study indicate that school and private primary school director display high ethical leadership behavior, mostly in communication dimension which is a sub-dimension of ethical leadership behaviors. Besides, it was found out that private school directors show more ethical leadership behavior than in all four sub-dimension of ethical behavior compared to public school directors.

Right-wrong attitudes and behaviors of people working in the organizations which have different working areas as administrators are among the reasons of the problems existing in these organizations. In this study, it was aimed to bring the discussion surrounding reasons and results of attitudes and behaviors and the question: "what is ethical?" to the agenda and to develop the School Administrators' Ethical Leadership Scale based on primary school teachers' perceptions by focusing on educational organizations. The scale was tested on 130 teachers working at 6 primary schools in the city center of Adıyaman and Gaziantep through a 27-item test form. The data gathered were analyzed using SPSS. After the factor analysis, it was found that the test form was made of a whole construct consisting of factor loadings ranging from 0,536 to 0,870 and 25 items. After item analysis, it was seen that an item had a low level of correlation and t value. The scale was formed as a 24-item scale after this item was removed. In addition, the scale's coefficient of Cronbach Alpha internal consistency was calculated as 0,973.
