Abstract

The Master‘s thesis consisted of: 49 pages, in which there are 22 pictures, 2 tables, there were used 58 literature sources and included 1 appendix. A retrospective case-study study was carried out in the X small animal clinic which applies the G. A. Ilizarov‘s external skeletal fixation‘s technique when there was diagnosed a bone fracture in the limb. For the case analysis there was created a survey, later computer database was created for saving and analysing clinical cases purposes. While collecting the information during the research for the traumatised animals there were a lot of examinations performed: general clinical, orthopedic, X-ray examinations, morphological and biochemical blood tests. There were collected information about: animal‘s breed, sex, age. Rentgenograms were analised for these aspects: a body side, a fractured limb bone, a fractured zone and a fractured type.
