Formulation of Business Strategy Based on SWOT Analysis on PT. Garuda Maintenance Facility Aeoroasia . Tbk

PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia. Tbk is an aircraft maintenance company that has the total capacity of AeroAsia.Tbk. hangars as competition in the business world continues to be enforced. The problem discussed in this research is how to formulation the business strategy of PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia Tbk. based on SWOT analysis. The purpose of this study was to find out the company's internal and external factors and to analyze the formulation of business strategies based on SWOT analysis at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia Tbk. Researchers used field research data through interviews, observations, and questionnaires to analyze the problem. Based on the IE matrix, the company's position is in cell V, namely maintaining and maintaining (Hold and Maintain) with a total internal factor score of 2.77 and external factors of 2.92 so that the market penetration strategy or business development. Meanwhile, in SWOT analysis using IFE and EFE tables, the internal strength factor was obtained by 3.23 and weakness factor of 2.21, so that the difference from the two factors internal factor is 1.02. After that the external opportunity factor is 3.22 and the threat factor is 2.60, so the difference from the two factors is 0.62 external factors. The conclusion of the research is based on swot diagram 4 Quadrant the company's position is in quadrant I, where the company can take advantage of opportunities and optimize the power it has, so that in the SWOT matrix the company's position is in the SO strategy.

Lombok is a place that has natural beauty and creative human resources. Lombok also produces handicrafts as souvenirs or souvenirs for tourists, it is an attraction and becomes an economic potential, each region has its own characteristics with different models and designs according to its uniqueness. each area for Lombok itself uses rattan work as its superior handicraft. The research site is in the Purnama Shop, a Lombok handicraft shop which is one of the suppliers of rattan handicrafts. This study discusses the SWOT analysis of Purnama shop, one of the handicraft craftsmen in Central Lombok to determine future business strategies that can be used in this business. data collection methods using in-depth interviews, observation and literature study. Marketing Strategy Analysis for Cassava Chips Home Industry in Sukamulia District, East Lombok. This research aimed to (1) identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the cassava chips home industry, and (2) determine suitable alternative marketing strategies to be implemented in the cassava chips home industry in Sukamulia District, East Lombok. The analysis used in this research was based on the SWOT analysis, which was compiled into a SWOT matrix. The results of the SWOT analysis generated alternative strategies that indicated the business's position in quadrant 1, which signified growth. Therefore, the suggested alternative strategy for the company was to utilize strengths to maximize opportunities (SO strategy).

SWOT Analysis - An Instrument for Strategic Planning - A Case Study

Abstract: SWOT (acronym for ‘Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) is an instrument for analysis and evaluating various aspects of the functioning of an organisation. It is a tool that not only generates the data regarding the internal functioning of an organisation but also helps to outline the future course of action for its growth and development. While ‘Strengths’ and ‘Weaknesses’ will help to realise the data on internal functioning, analysis of ‘Opportunities’ and ‘Threats’ depicts the external factors that impinge upon its present day working. SWOT can also influence the decisions on the future prospects and plan of action of an organisation. Thus while it evaluates existing situation in an organisation, it is also futuristic. It shows the road that an organisation can take and the difficulties and problems it is likely to face in its march towards growth and development. Thus this is a tool many organisations use for strategic planning as well. The present paper describes the different steps to carryout SWOT analysis of an educational institution with a case study of a rural engineering college. The paper puts forward major recommendations in the form of strategic actions for bringing about significant quality improvements for making an engineering college more efficient, effective and responsive. This study aims to determine the company's internal and external conditions and determine what strategies can be formulated to survive in the competition. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, collecting data using questionnaires and distributing question sheets to employees of related companies, and using SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) analysis techniques. The location and time of the research are at Surf Marine Indonesia Holding for a year (2019-2020). The results show that the calculations on the Cartesian diagram of the SWOT analysis are in quadrant I, which means the company is in a perfect situation where the company can take advantage of existing opportunities and strengths. The strategy that must be established in this condition is to support an aggressive growth policy (Growth-Oriented Strategy).

PT. Duta Karya Mandiri (PT. DKM) is a supplier of Avanza and Xenia bars-headrest components which manufactured by PT. Astra International, Tbk. The bargaining position of PT. DKM to PT. Astra International, Tbk. is low due to the absence of legal cooperation agreement so that the ordering of these products can be stopped by PT. Astra International, Tbk. at any time if other suppliers have better product quality with more competitive price. The purpose of this research was to analyze the SWOT and the Gap of new product development at PT. DKM. This product is expected to be an opportunity for PT. DKM which want to explore new product business into Business to Business market. The research was qualitative by using the direct technique with a depth interview method in the form of the semi-structured interview. Based on the SWOT and the Gap analysis, it was seen that to maximize the usage of the factory, utilizing scrap materials, and establish new consumers to expand their source of income, it is necessary to develop new products such as capstock hanger which can be marketed to the general supplier of apartment developers.

Designing a Sales Strategy with SWOT Method for Small and Medium Enterprises Products

Purpose: This research was conducted on SMEs of brown sugar. This business has difficulty increasing sales especially in the new products from SMEs, namely printed brown sugar products. Where previously this SMEs only produced and sold bulk brown sugar. Design/methodology/approach: The methods used are Fishbone and Pareto, to identify the factors that can support the sales strategy. Findings: The results showed that there are internal factors and external factors as a sales strategy. Fishbone and Pareto diagram shows that internal factors have strength and weakness, indicating that there are SMEs that have their own business capital, workers who are experienced in making brown sugar. Meanwhile, external factors, in the form of opportunities and threats, where SMEs already have markets and customers.
