Terrorism from Durkheim's perspective: A Critical Analysis of Suicide Bombings in the pursuit of religious and societal control (original) (raw)

This paper seeks to explain the root causes and factors that influence the occurrence of a series of suicide bomb attacks at the Astana Anyar Police Station, Bandung. The attack was shocking because the perpetrator broke into the police force that was carrying out the APPLE in the morning. A suicide bomb attack injured many police officers and killed one of them. It also explains the initial conditions that cause and trigger both internally and externally so that it can be known why the attack can occur. In addition, it is also explained how possible conditions occur in the community and the officials who deal with the problem. Everything will be explained with the perspective of Emile Durkheim.
