This paper retrieves bright, dark, singular and dark-singular combo dispersive optical solitons that stem from Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan model which is studied with full nonlinearity. These solitons are listed with constraint conditions on their parameters which serve as their existence criteria. Two strategically sound integration schemes have made soliton recovery successful.

In this research, we examine exact and solitary traveling solutions of nonlinear complex Kundu-Eckhaus equation with variable coefficients. Nonlinear complex Kundu-Eckhaus equation model has vital role in description of the proliferation of the pulses of the ultra-short femto second in an optical fiber, weakly nonlinear fragmented water waves, nonlinear optics and the quantum field theory. We implement a new auxiliary equation method and novel G 0 G À Á-expansion technique on this model to obtain a new exact and solitary traveling wave solutions. In this research, we study the generalized Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation which describe the dynamics of light pulses and it is also described by the nonlinear Schrödinger family of equations with cubic nonlinear terms. We use two auxiliary equation methods (extended simple equation method and new auxiliary equation method)) to obtain the exact and solitary traveling wave solutions of this model. We get new form of solitary traveling wave solutions for this model which help the researchers who interested in the applications of this model to be able to study the physical properties of the model.

By using a direct method for obtaining exact solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation that describes the evolution of spatial or temporal optical solitons, a two-parameter family of solutions is given. These exact solutions describe the periodic wave patterns that are generated by the spatial or temporal modulational instability, the periodic evolution of the bright solitons superimposed onto a continuouswave background, and the breakup of a single pulse into two dark waves which move apart with equal and opposite transverse components of the velocities.
Nonlinear waves and solitons in physical systems
Physica D: Nonlinear Phenomena, 1998
Advances in nonlinear science have been plentiful in recent years. In particular, interest in nonlinear wave propagation continues to grow, stimulated by new applications, such as ber optic communication systems, as well as the many classical unresolved issues of uid dynamics. What is arguably the turning point for the modern perspective of nonlinear systems took place at Los Alamos over forty years ago with the pioneering numerical simulations of Fermi, Pasta, and Ulam. A decade later, this research initiated the next major advance of Zabusky and Kruskal that motivaded the revolution in completely integrable systems. With this in mind, the conference on Nonlinear Waves in Solitons in Physical Systems (NWSPS) was organized by the Center for Nonlinear Studies (CNLS) at Los Alamos National Laboratory in May of 1997, to assess the current state-of-the-art in this very active eld. Papers from the conference attendees as well as from researchers unable to attend the conference were collected in this special volume of Physica D. In this paper, the contributions to the conference and to this special issue are reviewed, with an emphasis on the many unifying principles that all these works share. be broken into pieces, which are then solved independently by, for example, the Fourier or Laplace transform, and then added back to form a solution to the original problem.
Formation and propagation of solitons using the generalized non-linear Schrödinger equation
Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2006
This study presents the non-linearity and dispersion effects involved in the propagation of optical solitons which can be understood by using a numerical routine to solve the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation. This equation combines the effects of group velocity dispersion and self-phase modulation present in optical fibers and also takes into account the loss of optical fiber. A sequence of codes has been developed in Matlab, to explore in depth several features of the optical soliton's formation and propagation. The results give a very clear idea of this interesting and important practical phenomenon.

Generation and stabilization of short soliton pulses in the amplified nonlinear Schrödinger equation
1988
The nonlinear Schrbdinger equation (NLS), with its modified forms, is the central equation for the description of nonlinear pulse propagation in optical fibers. There are a number of different physical situations in which coupling between waves leads to energy transfer. In such systems, ultrashort pulses have been observed to form during propagation. In this paper we show that much of this behavior can be understood by considering the effects of gain in the NLS. We also show that perturbations of the NLS do not destroy these results, provided that the modified equation possesses solitary-wave solutions.
