Abstract
With the advent of the Information Society, in the course of the 20th to the 21st century, the integration of ICT in the teaching of Geography brought great challenges to teaching practice. The ability to interact through the different resources and platforms brought a possible space of mediation of geographic knowledge, through the rationalities present in the practice of teachers with the use of ICT. From Habermas's Theory of Communicative Action (TAC), we sought to analyze how the integration of ICT can be understood in terms of technical and pedagogical rationality in teaching practice. The objective of this work was to investigate the incorporation of ICT in the practice of Geography teachers, in the RMR technical and reference schools, seeking to understand limits, challenges and possibilities arising from the use of ICT.
