Abstract
<i>Cyanocorax cristatellus</i> (Temminck, 1823) We recorded the species in <i>cerrado</i> areas, generally at altitudes above 500 m. Identified by its long wings and relatively short tail with dark violet-blue mantle and white belly and distal two-thirds of tail. Unmistakable due to long frontal crest, separated from the crown (Sick 1997), in addition to its distinctive call. <b> <i>Neothraupis fasciata</i> (Lichtenstein, 1823)</b> Described above.
