The quality of basic education in remote areas, especially in Kopeng Village, is far from expected. This can be seen from the low participation of access to education, limited educational facilities and infrastructure, lack of educational social media, low social relations and communication, low motivation of educational participation, lack of utilization of educational resources, lack of availability of tutoring, low educational entertainment, the variety of educational games that are still very limited and the lack of increased learning with nature. Introduction. The role of village libraries as resource centers are not widely known by the community. The village libraries have varying weaknesses in aspects of a library. The problems are the lack of human resources; less library services and promotion; insufficient collection; inadequacy of library furniture and equipment; unstable internet network; and lack of local government support. This study was a pioneer in facilitating the reading service system to support implementation of reading materials. This system was developed by village libraries through guided reading techniques.Data Collection Method. The Role Of The School Library Collection In Efforts Growing A Student's Reading Attitude Sman 1 Pekalongan Lampung Timur

This research aims to determine the role of school library collections in an effort to increase the reading attitude of students of SMAN 1 PEKALONGAN LAMPUNG TIMUR. The method used in this research is qualitative descripte, with 100 respondents, consisting of 32 respondents from class X, 32 class XI, 32 class XII, 1 librarian, 2 teachers, and the principal. Data analysis techniques in this research are using questionnaires, observation, question and answer and literature study. The discussion focused on the benefits of the library collection at SMAN 1 Pekalongan in an effort to improve reading attitudes and constraints faced by the library of SMAN 1Pekalogan, East Lampung. The results of the study were obtained from interviews, namely. Based on the results of filling out the questionnaire by students, most of which answered "not enough" is relevant to their needs, 100 respondents said that the textbook collection available in the library was still "inadequate", 90 out of 100 respondents stated " did not know "there were non-printed collections such as tapes in the library and most of the respondents stated that they had never browsed through special collections and made use of them with a total of 80 respondents.

This research is a qualitative research which was conducted at the Library of MAN 8 Jombang. The technique of taking research subjects used snowball sampling with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by means of unstructured interviews, with the head of the library, employees or staff, and users of the MAN 8 Jombang library, observing the state or condition of the MAN 8 Jombang library, and relevant documents. The purpose of this research was to find out program of Community Library, implementation of program and result of implementation Community Library program in increasing reading interest at Mata Aksara Community Library. The type in this research was evaluation research. Evaluation model in this research was using of CIPP model which is developed by Stufflebeam and Gilbert Sax, consist of context, input, process and product. Collecting data use observation technique, interview and documentation. Every data presented was required validity, in obtaining data validity in this research by Triangulation. Result of research showed that evaluation of Mata Aksara Community Library program is good.

Public library role for the development of socio economic conditions of Lodha Community in Senna and Chandana mouza, Keshiary block, Paschim Medinipur

Public libraries play an important role in promoting rural community development of rural areas. Information needs of rural public library users (especially backward community people with lower income group) are different from other public library users. To study their need, a survey has been conducted on Lodha community in Senna and Chandana Mouza at Keshiary block of Paschim Medinipur. A structured questionnaire was prepared to collect data from different economically backward public library users. The aim of our study is to know the basic community information needs and information seeking pattern of public library users of Keshiary block, Paschim Medinipur. Some case studies also have been incorporated to analysis their need. The study has clearly shown that, it is necessary to make public library in every rural village and make the economically backward people aware about the need and importance of the rural public library. So, state government should take steps for the proper growth, recruitment, and development of rural public libraries located in the remote areas of West Bengal.

Improving Community Literation Through Reading Corner

Based on the survey released by the UNESCO in 2017, Indonesia was ranked 60th out of 61 countries on reading interest. This result is in line with the findings of the preliminary survey conducted by a community dedication team in South Meruya district. They find that reading interest in the area is very low indicated by the number of books read. The low reading interest could cause a negative impact, especially in a digital era where any information can be accessed through social media. Unfortunately, such information cannot be justified and is more often to provoke and causing chaos. Therefore, community service is held in Meruya Selatan district in order to increase the community literacy. The purpose is done by making a reading corner which aims to provide the community access to interesting and useful reading materials to increase reading interest and knowledge to create a high-quality community life.

YOUNG LIBRARIAN: EFFORTS THE SCHOOL LIBRARY TO IMPROVE INTEREST IN READING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE

Interest in students to increase interest in reading is still very far from the expected by this nation, especially circulating around the tech community is growing rapidly, which resulted in students getting away from their habit of reading books, they prefer to play the game online. In addition to its existing gaming technology development, one other factor that makes the student is no longer interested in reading the book, namely the lack of attention of parents to guide their children so fond read. One of which the most effective ways to increase student interest in reading that the school, the library school, the school is able to assign or require students to read and search tasks assigned by the teacher. And to support the growth of interest in reading for students, teachers also need the help of students who want to become an intermediary between the teacher and the students, in this case it is meant little librarian, who will be able to become a partner students no longer so awkward to interact in the library, thus create a more conducive environment library. With the young librarian will greatly help to increase reading elementary school students, since the invitation of a friend who's age will be heard and will be held this little together. The young librarian which will invite his friends to be fond of reading, encouraging them to frequent come to the library. Key word: reading, young librarian, library school.
