The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the size of the board of commissioners, the independence of the board of commissioners, the audit committee, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, company size, profitability, and environmental performance on the disclosure of Islamic social reporting in companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index. The population of this study consisted of all companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index in the period 2014 – 2019. The total sample used in this study was 60 companies. Then, the data were tested using the multiple regression method. The results showed that the size of the board of commissioners, audit committee, firm size, profitability affect the disclosure of Islamic social reporting, while the independent variables of the board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and environmental performance do not affect the disclosure of Islamic social reporting.

The social role of Islamic banks shows inconsistencies both at home and abroad; this is the basis for con-ducting this research to re-explain the Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG) and Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) relationship, models. The previous research results show various disclosures of the effects of Good Corporate Governance on Corporate Social Responsibility. The objective of this study was to examine the effects of Good Corporate Governance on the Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure to companies incorporated in the Jakarta Islamic Index. Proxies of Good Corporate Governance in this research include the managerial ownership, institutional ownership, foreign ownership, size of the independent commissioner board, size of the audit committee, and concentrated share ownership. The samples used in this study were companies registered in the Jakarta Islamic Index and had information on Good Corporate Governance and applied the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility during the period of 2013-2016. The total of the samples used consisted of 23 companies for the four year period. Multiple linear regression test was conducted to analyze whether Good Corporate Governance influenced the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility. The results of this study show that the variables that affect the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility are managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and foreign ownership. However, there are three variables that do not affect the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility that is the size of the independent commissioner board, size of the audit committee, and concentrated share ownership.

This study examined how far ISR disclosure as the intervening variable could mediate the effect of financial performance and environmental performance on the firm value. The subjects of this study were the companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in 2012-2014. The samples of the study were sixty companies chosen by purposive sampling method, and the analytical technic used path analysis. The results of this study proved that: (1) financial performance had positive effect to the firm value, (2) environmental performance had no effect to the firm value, (3) financial performance had positive effect to the ISR disclosure, (4) environmental performance had positive effect to the ISR disclosure, (5) ISR disclosure had positive effect to the firm value, (6) ISR disclosure could mediate the effect of financial and environmental performances on the firm value.

This study explains the influence of company size, profitability, environmental performance on firm value through Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) disclosure. The research is research explanatory which used secondary data listed companies at Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) by 2013 – 2017. The research results show that the size has positive effects not significant toward Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) disclosure. The size of the company also directly influence positively but not significantly to firm value, insignificant effect mediation through Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) disclosure. This study aims to determine the effect of company size, profitability, Islamic securities, liquidity and leverage on the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2017-2019 period. The data used are the financial statements of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index during the 2017-2019 period. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The sample in this study were 17 companies that were consistently listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index for the 2017-2019 period. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. This study indicate that company size has a significant positive effect, profitability, Islamic securities liquidity and leverage have no significant positive effect on the disclosure of Islamic social reporting. Meanwhile, simultaneously company size, profitability, Islamic securities, liquidity and leverage have a significant positive effect on the disclosure of Islamic social reporting.
Accounting and Finance Review The Determinants of Islamic Social Reporting Disclosure in Indonesia
Objective-The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between corporate performance, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and corporate characteristics on Islamic Social Reporting disclosure in Indonesia. Methodology/Technique-A quantitative approach is applied in this research. The sample of this study consists of companies that were consistently listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) from 2012 to 2017. A purposive sampling method with certain criteria was employed to produce a total of 72 samplings. Partial Least Square (PLS) was also used to analyse the data. Findings-The results of this research indicate that corporate performance has a positive and significant effect on ISR disclosure, GCG has a positive and significant effect on ISR disclosure, and corporate characteristics have a negative and insignificant effect on ISR disclosure. Novelty-Islamic Social Reporting is the answer and solution to the needs of the interested parties concerned with the company's financial statements. ISR becomes a very important thing for the reputation and performance of Islamic financial institutions. Islamic financial institutions that succeed in revealing their ISR value will be perceived as a reliable entity by the Muslim community in channelling their fund. Type of Paper: Empirical. Islamic Social Reporting has been promoted as instrument to encourage business entities to comply with Islamic teachings. The objective of this research is to obtain empirical evidence about factors that influence Islamic Social Reporting disclosure for companies listed in Indonesia Sharia Stock Index. Population of this study is all companies listed during 20152016. One hundred sixty three samples were selected based on purposive sampling and the analysis was conducted by multiple regression method. The result shows that company size and the issuance of Islamic securities have positive effects on the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting. On the other side, profitability, leverage and the size of commissioner board do not have effect on the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting. The objective of the research is to determine the effects of the disclosure of Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG) and Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) on financial performance. The amount of ICG and ICSR disclosure can measure from the disclosure score compiled based on the standards of the IFSB, AAOIFI, and relevant previous studies. Profitability ratios measure financial performance in the form of ROA. The population in the research is the Sharia Commercial Bank (BUS) in the period 2012-2020. The research uses pooling data as the sampling method to obtain 109 observational data, which was analyzed using SmartPLS 3.2 and SPSS 23 software. The result shows that the level of disclosure of financial statements from Islamic Commercial Bank shows a good level of disclosure of ICG and ICSR, 74% and 68%, respectively. The result of empirical testing proves that the disclosure of ICG and ICSR has a direct effect positively and significantly on financial performance.

This research is aimed to analyze the disclosure level of Social Reporting in companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) using ISR index. This research is descriptive research, that is research which try to describe and interpret result of ISR index score based on six criteria: Funding and Investment, Products and Services, Employee, Society, Environment and Corporate Governance. The population of this study are all companies listed in JII period 2014-2016. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling method. The result of research shows that the most disclosure on the six ISR index criteria conducted by 21 companies listing in JII is environmental criteria. This proves that there is an awareness of the environmental social responsibility of companies listing in JII.
