Journal of Global Christianity 8.1
Journal of Global Christianity, 2023
Journal of Global Christianity seeks to promote international scholarship and discussion on topics related to global Christianity. The journal addresses key issues related to the mission of the Church in hope of helping those who labor for the gospel, wrestle with and apply the biblical teaching on various challenging mission topics. Understanding that there is a lack of trained and theologically educated leaders around the world to lead the Church and prepare future leaders, The Journal of Global Christianity targets an audience of pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers. The educational level of our audience ranges from those who have completed a bachelor level degree to those who have completed a master level as well as those in school preparing for ministry. We realize that there are theology students, professors, and other scholars who will read and take interest in the content of this journal, but our main focus is on those working with the global church or those who are considering work with the global church. The journal assumes a high level of education among its audience but is not strictly academic.
Key Findings of Christianity in its Global Context, 1970–2020
International Bulletin of Missionary Research, 2013
C hristians around the world today find themselves in contexts that are very different from those of forty years ago. Since 1970, many societies have experienced dramatic social upheavals and severe environmental catastrophes, yet the period from 1970 to 2010 was also a time of great technological advancement and increased connections between people around the world. Such changes challenge Christians to think differently about the people among whom they live and work, the ways in which they interact with them, and the potential for future cooperation.

Christianity 2019: What's Missing? A Call for Further Research
International Bulletin of Mission Research, 2019
This article marks the thirty-fifth year of presenting statistical information on world Christianity and mission. This year, we report on three gaps in the literature, concerning women in world Christianity and mission, the status of short-term mission (STM), and missions and money. There are few quantitative studies on women in world Christianity; there remains a dearth in the literature on the magnitude and impact of STM (which is particularly US-centric); and Christian finance, now $60 trillion in personal income, is vastly under-researched in global studies.
Theological Librarianship, 2010
World Missionary conference, 1910) was presented to the conference. The Atlas of Global Christianity is published on the occasion of the 2010 centenary of the conference as a successor to that work, as a retrospective review of one hundred years of christianity, and as a look forward to the development of global christianity in the near future. The editors claim that it "aims, through a combination of maps, tables, charts, graphs and text, to present a comprehensive analysis of christianity in the modern world" (xi). it is both more and less than that. it is also a comparison of christianity in relation to other religions (part i), an historical overview of changes in christianity since 1910 (throughout), an introduction to the study of global christianity (essays), and at times a roadmap for the promotion of christian mission (parts ii, iii, and V). Where it falls short is as a "comprehensive analysis"; it would be more accurate to call it a comprehensive overview and introductory analysis of global christianity.
