Population growth, high urbanization, and human behaviors in developing technology and industry have given a negative impact on the environment. This study aimed to analyze the correlation of perceived behavioral control and intention with waste sorting behavior. Data were collected by using scales to measure perceived behavioral control, intention, and waste sorting behavior. This study used a quantitative method in which a total of 251 employees of oil and gas construction service were recruited using the cluster sampling technique. The results indicate that (1) there was a correlation between perceived behavioral control and sorting behavior; (2) there was a correlation between the intention and behavior of waste sorting; (3) there was a very strong correlation between perceived behavioral control and the intention to sort waste; and (4) there was a correlation between perceived behavioral control and intention with waste sorting behavior. This research is expected to help company leaders to make policies in increasing the environmental awareness of their employees and to develop waste sorting activities in the workplace.
