This study measured the level of academic stress among students regarding personal inadequacy, fear of failure, interpersonal difficulties with teachers, and inadequate learning resources in times of Covid-19 pandemic Using a descriptive-comparative approach. Slovin's formula was used to identify the respondents with a stratified random sampling technique to generate the required sample size of the study. The results revealed that the level of academic stress in times of the Covid-19 pandemic is high. It is also revealed that there is no significant difference in the level of academic stress when respondents are grouped according to sex, year level, and the number of hours spent for modular learning per day and provided significant difference when grouped according to course. The Psychological Condition of Student in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era

The Covid-19 pandemic is sweeping the world. Change cannot be avoided, including in the world of education. Changes from various systems make researchers intend to determine the psychological resilience of students during a pandemic. There is a change that occurs suddenly whether it will affect the psychological condition of students. This research uses descriptive survey method. This study uses the (Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale) DASS-42 instrument to measure levels of depression, anxiety, and stress. Based on the results of the DASS-42 analysis, students had very severe impairment of 6.67 percent, severe 11.33 percent, moderate 25.67 percent, mild 15 percent, and normal 41 percent. Stress data experienced by students are as follows; very severe as much as 0.33 percent, severe 3 percent, moderate 7 percent, mild 15 percent, and normal 74.67 percent. On the other hand, the students' depression level was not that different from the stress level, namely: normal level depression was 76 percent, mild 10 percent, moderate 8.33 percent, severe 4 percent, and very severe 1.33 percent. So it can be concluded that students experience higher anxiety than stress and depression. The level of depression in students was higher than the level of stress experienced by students. These data indicate the need for an appropriate approach to dealing with students' psychological conditions.
STRESSORS ALERT: STUDENT'S AND TEACHERS' MENTAL HEALTH STATUS AMID CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC
The COVID-19 Pandemic changes many"s lives thus, knowing and understanding the things to consider in hurdling challenges relating to mental health are essential for everybody. Nowadays, students and teachers are also confronted with challenges due to the implemented new normal environment in teaching and learning in the different state colleges in the Philippines. Knowing the stressors faced by the students and teachers is significant in structuring activities to lessen stress and anxiety, which believably are the reasons for their hesitation to work and to involve themselves in related-academic activities. Knowing the level of stressors and its effect to students and teachers is essential to assess the efficiency of the existing practices in every institution. This paved way also in launching programs to develop instructional activities for the HEIs in the country. Gathering of data was done online using a standard questionnaire deployed through google forms. The result revealed that the school and work-related matters contributed the most to the stress experienced by the students and teachers of Occidental Mindoro State College, Philippines. Findings revealed that students often experienced stressful activities relating to mental health matters compared to teachers.
The Impact of Stress to the Quality of Life of the College Students During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This study investigates the impact of stress on the quality of life of college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, descriptive-correlational research design was employed to obtain the respondents' profiles regarding their stress, physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and environmental health. A total number of two hundred twenty-four (224) college students participated in the study. The researcher utilized two standardized questionnaires to gather the data from the respondents: The perceived Stress Questionnaire with thirty (30) items and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF with twenty-six (26) items. The null hypothesis was tested at 0.05 level of significance and was analyzed through multiple regression analysis. The statistical analysis of the study presented a significant impact of the college students' stress on their quality of life. Interpretations and conclusions were formulated from the research findings, and the researchers provided recommendations at the end of the research for the beneficiaries of this study.
Stress Perceived by University Health Sciences Students, 1 Year after COVID-19 Pandemic

Today’s COVID-19 situation can affect university Health Sciences students’ psychological health. This study aimed to analyze the stress caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Health Sciences students from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) almost 1 year after the pandemic began. This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with a sample of 252 university students who completed a self-administered online questionnaire. It evaluated the impact of perceived stress with a modified scale (PSS-10-C), and assessed anxiety and depression on the Goldberg scale. Students presented stress (13.1%), anxiety (71.4%) and depression (81%). Females (81.7%) and the third-year Occupational Therapy students (p = 0.010) reported perceived stress. Background: The closure of educational institutions due to COVID-19 pandemic is causing a varied amount of distress among students depending on their year of study. The purpose of the study was to compare first year and Last year College going students on the variables stress and well-being. Methodology: A population of 50 first year and 50 last year students participated in the study and were recruited from different colleges of Delhi and Gurgaon. The participants completed a measure of Perceived stress scale and P.G.I. general well-being measure Questionnaire. Results: The results reveal that there is significant difference in both variable i.e stress and well-being among first year and Last Year College going students based on the analysis of data done by using Independent sample t-test. Conclusions: Interventions to boost Mental Health of the final year students by increasing support and providing assurance in both, academic and employment opportunities will be helpful during these times.
Mental Health Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the University Students

COVID-19 has spread across the globe, resulting in significant changes in virtually every aspect of life. Previous researchs had shown that changes in the learning process during pandemic Covid 19 cause mental health problems among students. This study aims to reveal the mental health condition of students in terms of gender and learning methods. There were 170 participants in this study (129 women student and 41 men student). Data collection using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) was given via google form. The results showed that there were no siginificant diffrences in the levels of depression and anxiety between men and women student. In the condition of stress, there is difference levels stress among gender (p,0,05) Women more tend stress than men. The learning method had no influence on the mental health condition of students. Human lives have been significantly impacted by the global COVID-19 epidemic. Worldwide implementation of the lockdown was necessary during the first wave of the pandemic to stop the virus' spread. Students had experienced mental health problems as a result of adjusting to the changes. Many researchers looked at students' mental health before the massive COVID-19 outbreak, but they hardly ever looked at situations like those during the endemic. As a result, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the mental health status of undergraduate students at universities, the differences in that status between genders, and the connection between that status and academic performance. The study employs the quantitative research design. Students' mental health was assessed using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) developed by Cohen et al. (1983) to measure perceived stress among students. Survey method was used to collect the data from 142 undergraduate students voluntarily from public and private universities in Malaysia. The results show that there are only minor mental health issues among students, with female students reporting higher levels of stress than their male counterparts. Additionally, there is no connection between students' academic performance and their mental health. Also provided are a few ideas for additional study.

The rising concerns regarding mental health arising from the challenges due to pandemics emerged and it’s negative effects on academic performance. Stress and depression levels affected students’ mental well-being as well as academic performance. Surprisingly, this study revealed that the anxiety level of this young generation due to COVID-19 does not influence their activities rather students to have a strong mental capacity to maintain adverse situations. The most possible reason could be their belief that the impact of coronavirus is very low among the young generation. Therefore, they are not anxious about the coronavirus during the pandemic. Rather, they are having depression and stress due to the absence of a proper educational environment.
Impact Of Perceived Stress On Academic Performance Among College Students During Covid-19 Outbreak

The Progress of the Human race depends on education which is a valuable asset to the human race. Education contributes to the development of an individual in every aspect like character, discipline, interest, intelligence, and healthy livelihood which in turn reflects in the overall development of the society as well as the nation. The covid-19 outbreak became a pandemic and substantially affects the education field and its routine work. It made the education system to adapt the technology aspect and students along with teachers started to relay on electronic gadgets for teaching-learning process. Spending prolonged time in front of the laptop, mobile or other electronic gadgets in an isolated manner will cause stress and anxiety among the students. This may impact their academic performance. This study aims to measure the perceived stress among college students and its impact on their academic performance. The Perceived Stress Scale PSS-10 (1988) standardized by Sheldon Cohen and Willamson was used to collect data for this study. Students' academic performances were obtained from their percentage of marks in the semester examination. A stratified random sampling technique was used to select 168 students as samples for the study. The result shows that about 77% of students were having Moderate perceived stress levels and 7% of students had a high level of perceived stress further it has been noted that perceived stress and academic achievement were negatively correlated.
