The COVID-19 brings alarming situation for the whole world, particularly the health industry, which demands a special focus on employees’ soft skills and training & development. This study aimed to investigate the effect of soft skills and Training & Development on employees’ performances in the hospital industry having interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork and collaboration, flexibility, stress management and work ethics as specific interest. Using an adapted questionnaire, the data was gathered from doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff to support the hypothesized statements. The findings of the study revealed that training & development, teamwork & collaboration and stress management have a statistical significant and positive impact on employees’ performance while interpersonal skills, flexibility and work ethics have an insignificant impact. Therefore, the study recommends the health industry in Karachi to pay more attention on the training & development, teamwork & collaboration and stress management to increase the employees’ performance as well as to meet the post COVID-19 requirements in the industry.

Employees are the true determinant of the success or competency of an organization. An adequately trained workforce is important to ensure the workplace has the right and valuable employees. Employees in the education sector need the training to improve their performance as they face limitations or challenges to be creative in completing a task. Despite the increasing effects on the training of organizational employees by organizations, there is still limited literature on human resource development issues in developing countries. Building a skillful and knowledgeable workforce is one of the most vital activities in an organization to ensure high level of competency with proficient team in order to sustain and grow in a dynamic business environment. In this study, the researcher focused on the impact of training methods on employee performance. The objective is to examine the impact of on-the-job and off-the-job training on employee performance. The researcher adopted positivism research philosophy and collected quantitative primary data through survey questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed based upon various types of on-the-job and off-the-job training methods. Census method is adopted to collect data as the researcher distributed the questionnaire to all 162 employees in the target population providing an equal chance for all to participate in the study. 136 responses were returned however only 124 are accepted as the remaining was found to be incomplete. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software in order to get the regression values. The result shows both on-the-job and off-the-job training achieve a standardized coefficients beta value of 0.370 and 0.546 respectively with significant value of 0.000 which concludes the outcome of the research that on-the-job and off-the-job training have a positive significant impact on employee performance.

Organizations are struggling hard for the success and attainment of competitiveness utilizing skilled human resource. The particular problem discussed in this research is to determine the in uence of training on performance of employee and organization within the education sector of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. For getting the primary data about the concepts of people, a survey through questionnaire comprising of 15 questions was carried out. The questionnaires were sent to 300 people, in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad. To depict a good representative of the study, the sample size was chosen randomly. The replies were collected on paper. The independent variables of the study were three in numbers (On job training, Training design, Delivery Style) and Organizational performance is a dependent variable which is being affected by these independent variables by mediation of employee's performance. The data has been tested on SPSS. To nd the importance of these variables and to evaluate the results Cronbach's Alpha, descriptive statistics, correlation, regression and ANOVA were used. The results show that the independent variables training design, delivery style and on the job training has positive and signi cant relationship with the dependent variable organizational performance by mediating variable employee's performance and clearly depicts the strong variability among variables.

Soft skills are the expected qualities of the business graduates to take part in purposeful intercommunications with others to establish a synergic, productive, and flourishing work environment, which are crucial for the growingly competitive corporate world. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between soft skills training and business graduates' performance. There were limited studies found on soft skills training and business graduates' performance in the Bangladeshi context and this study bridges the existing research gap. The study is based on primary data. A structured questionnaire was prepared to collect the primary data. The questionnaire was delivered randomly to all the business schools in Bangladesh through an online platform because of the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 352 valid responses were accumulated from this online survey. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics, frequency distribution, and chi-square tests were applied. It was found that 84.1% of respondents agreed that soft skills training increased professional performance. The study also revealed that 38.6% of students felt bored during soft skills training sessions. However, almost 43.2% of students were opposed to this statement. From the study, it is recommended that soft skills training should be made compulsory in the Bangladeshi business school curriculum to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in future professional performance.
THE IMPACT OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEE JOB PERFORMANCE
The current research was initiated with the main purpose of identifying the significant impact of training and development on employee job performance. Further, the research examines the significant impact of training need identify on employee job performance, the significant impact of training applicability of the job on employee job performance, the significant impact of training design improve skill on employee job performance, the significant impact of development opportunities on employee job performance, the significant impact of Perception of the organization long term on employee job performance and the significant impact of Continuous commitment to investment in employee development on employee job performance in the study area. The research was conducted among the sample of 100 employees in Regional Development Bank Head office. Stratified random sample techniques was used to choice the research sample. The response rate was 100%. Data was gathered from a standard questionnaire. Data analysis was through using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) with the support of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. Findings shown that there is a significant impact of training and development on employee job performance.

The objective of this research paper was to analyze various aspects of training and development as well as their impacts on the performance of organizations. For this purpose, primary data was collected from 300 employees of IT companies through a structured questionnaire randomly. The selected independent variables were Training Delivery Style, Training Design, Off-thejob Training and On-the-Job Training while dependent variable was Organizational performance. Training and Development of employees was a mediating variable. The statistical techniques such as Descriptive Statistics, Reliability test, Correlation analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis were used to analyze data. Our findings show that On-the-Job training, Training design, Delivery style and Off-the-Job training have positive and significant impact on the performance of organizations.
