In the present study, Hypocrea lixii SURT01, a isolate from poultry soil was subjected to 18s rRNA analysis was submitted to NCBI -Genbank. The strain was induced in minimal media which was found to produce the phytase enzyme. The characterization of extracellular phytase showed optimum activity at pH of 6.5 and temperature of 50ºC after an incubation for 120 hours. Different nitrogen sources were screened and peptone showed more enhancements in the enzyme production. Time course study was done on the culture media and that showed 120 hours to reach maximum activity. The enzyme was partially purified by 60% by ammonium sulphate precipitation and gel permeation chromatography was done to get different fractions. SDS PAGE was carried out to understand the molecular weight of the protein.

Organisms contain a complex network of antioxidant metabolites and enzymes that work together to prevent oxidative damage to cellular components. Antioxidant property of Bacopa monniera is rendered by bacoside against H2O2 stressed lymphocytes which was extracted by Soxhlet apparatus and analyzed by TLC method. Hydrogen peroxide was found to be lethal for cells (23.80 %viability). While bacoside showed significant cell viability (75 % viability) when treated against hydrogen peroxide stressed cells. In this regard there is a great scope for further investigation of Bacopa monniera against certain drugs producing free radicals having negative side effects on cell.

Laccases are multi-copper oxidases widely distributed in plants, animals, insects and microorganism. These enzymes catalyze the one-electron oxidation of a wide range of organic and inorganic substances, including mono, di and poly phenols, aminophenols, methoxy phenols, aromatic amines and ascobate with the concomitant four electron reduction of oxygen to water. Laccase has the focus of much attention because of its diverse applications, such as delignification of lignocellulosics, cross linking of polysaccharides, bioremediation application etc. The main objective of the paper is to optimize the condition for maximum production of laccase enzyme produced from bacteria -Pseudomonas aeruginosa using Response surface methodology. Laccases activity was estimated by Bourbonnais and Paice method and the temperature, pH were optimized separately, the design of experiment for nutritional requirement was designed to 50 run and the activity level were estimated using Response surface methodology. Models were developed by Central composite design (CCD) with the selected parameters. The regression analysis (R2) of RSM showed 97%. The development of rapid and efficient method for media preparation was established using RSM-CCD.
