The Four Horses of Revelation are judgments, winds, spirits, angels

The Four Horses of Revelation are judgments, winds, spirits, angels, 2021

The four horses of Revelation are plagues, judgments, winds, spirits and angels. By looking at the source of these imagery in Zechariah 6, we can determine this and we will see the connection with the following chapters in Revelation. It means in chapter 6 the horses/judgments are announced, in chapter 7 they are held back (to seal the people of God) and in the second part of chapter 9 they are finally released to execute theid judgment. The first fulfilment of this judgment concerns Judah in the year 70 when Jerusalem fell and the temple was destroyed.

Explanation of Revelation, Chapter Six "The Four Horsemen"

According to Christian Theology, only Christians will be able to partake of the kingdom of God, the so-called “Saints.” ALL people are the children of God and God desires that all are “saved.” During the Adamic Cycle there have been nine revelations given unto humankind through the Manifestations, the mouthpiece of God: Adam, Moses, Krishna, Zoroaster, Buddha, Jesus, the Bab, and Baha’u’llah. Today, only seven of these religions remain (all others are denominations and sects of these seven). There are no longer any Adamites (Sabean) or Babi’s. These are the “seven spirits” of God spoken of in scripture.

As we first observe the seven assemblies of Asia in Revelation 2 and 3, we see a menorah: yet, a defiled menorah, unfit for her groom as revealed glorified in Revelation 1 and 5. She is simply unclean. What does God; what does Christ intend to do about that?

And I looked, and behold a pale GREEN horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And POWER was given unto them OVER the FOURTH PART of the earth, to kill with SWORD, and with hunger, and with death, and with the BEASTS of the earth”. Revelation 6:7-8.

There Was War in Heaven, and the Beast Was Cast Out: Apocalyptic Scenes in the Composition of the Last Judgement

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE 75 YEAR JUBILEE OF THE INSTITUTE OF ART HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY. 12th – 14th October 2022 Dojran, Macedonia. Book of Proceedings (eds. Antonio Jakimovski & Elizabeta Dimitrova), 2024

During the second half of the 18th century and throughout the 19th century, the composition of the Last Judgement was enriched with additional themes and contents. Among the striking contents are the three so-called apocalyptic scenes derived from the Book of Revelation where the main protagonists are the Righteous Enoch, the Prophet Elijah, the Antichrist and the Archangel Michael. Although, long before the scenes were included in the Last Judgement, there had been a great interest in Revelation in the Western world since the 9th century. Hence, we are tracking the oldest depictions, as well as the visualization of the scenes regarding the above-mentioned protagonists in the medieval illuminated manuscripts, and also in the Athonite Apocalypse cycles, representing a significant source of inspiration. Furthermore, we present the examples of the Last Judgement incorporating the three scenes in chronological order from 1754(94) to 1873, depicted on icons, paper icons and wall painting.
