Understanding job competencies' needs in the job market will be substantial to the success of any educational institutions in preparing their graduates. This paper will discuss and compare the results of two studies, the 2007 and 2012 studies, which examined the IT competencies needs for eight groups of IT workers: Database Administration, Network Administration, Consultant, IT Manager, Software Engineer, System Analyst, Technical Support, and Web Developer. The competencies discussed include hard skills, soft skills, and attitude, personality, and behaviors. The results show that there are changes in the needs of IT competencies from 2007 to 2012.

This research studied industrial labor demand for food, beverages and tobacco in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods, using the tools of regression estimates. The observed variables are variables that proxy for wage labor expenditure, GDP as a proxy for real output and employment food industry, beverages and tobacco in Indonesia. Results of regression estimates indicate that GDP significantly compared to the wages of industrial labor demand of food, beverages and tobacco in Indonesia. Signifikanan instability variables on demand for labor wages together with the results of research ever undertaken in Australia, the results of these estimates indicate that the food industry, beverages and tobacco are capital intensive.

COVID-19, Permintaan, Dan Rata-Rata Upah Tenaga Kerja DI Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa dampak COVID-19 terhadap permintaan tenaga kerja dan rata-rata upah pekerja. Untuk menjawab tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan data yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Berdasarkan data tersebut diketahui bahwa COVID-19 menyebabkan perubahan permintaan pekerja yang berbeda pada setiap sektor. Tidak semua sektor menunjukkan penurunan jumlah tenaga kerja, ada pula sektor yang justru meningkat jumlah tenaga kerjanya. Penurunan jumlah pekerja terjadi di sektor formal dan tingkat pengangguran meningkat pada seluruh golongan umur dan tingkat pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini juga diketahui bahwa COVID-19 menyebabkan penurunan rata-rata upah pekeja di seluruh lapangan usaha. Rata-rata upah pekerja meningkat seiiring dengan meningkatnya pendidikan pekerja. Terakhir, rata-rata upah pekerja juga berbeda antar kelompok umur dimana pekerja berusia muda dibayar lebih rendah.

Bagian pendaftaran merupakan garda terdepan dalam kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan. Banyak kendala yang terjadi di bagian pendaftaran dengan berbagai penyebab. Terbatasnya tenaga kerja di bagian pendaftaran menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jumlah kebutuhan tenaga kerja di unit rekam medis pada bagian pendaftaran Klinik Medika Tanjungsari dengan berdasarkan beban kerja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif dengan metode pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode pengerjaan WISN (Workload Indicators Staffing Needs). WISN merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung kebutuhan tenaga kerja dengan berdasarkan beban kerja.
