Abstract

With the idea of restoring the analytical relevance, and the real viability, of peace as a process of as a process of instituting a communal order, throughout this contribution we will seek to reflect on the dimensions identified as structural or basic to its social feasibility. This exercise requires reconsidering the construction of peace in historically unequal environments and seeking an interpretative framework for the process in these contexts, characterized by social inequality and its manifestations (injustice, exclusion, social immobility). To arrive at this alternative, we begin by making explicit the conceptual trajectory that links the category of social inequality - multiple inequalities - with the possibility of a socially significant peace.
