Abstract

Machine type communication (MTC) with a network of long term evolution (LTE) of 3GPP, there is often a need to transmit and receive data payloads small. They defined new information elements (IE) to facilitate transmission and receipt of small data payloads. Procedures and systems can use the new IE to transmit and receive data more efficiently. New IE IE includes a small data ACK and IE small data container. New messages include an indicator release RRC and RRC connection release.
