Digital Literacy Ability of Students of Biology Education Study Program FSTT Undikma

This study aims to understand the condition of digital literacy skills of S1 students of the biology education study program, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Applied (FSTT) Mandalika University of Education (Undikma). Cross-sectional study with a survey method that aims to analyze variable data collected at a certain point in time throughout the sample population or a predetermined subset. The population of this study is all active Biology Education study program students as many as 212 students. The research sample amounted to 86 students as respondents obtained by accidental sampling techniques. This research instrument is in the form of a google form-based student digital literacy mastery questionnaire, which is given online. The Relationship Between Digital Literacy and Learning Outcomes in Biology Learning for Students

The study aims to determine the relationship between digital literacy and the learning results on the biology of class vii for the 12th country school class vii. This type of research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. The population in this study is class vii in the 12 countries' middle schools. The samples used in this study number 88 students. Research instruments using tankettes. The data analysis technique used is by using a product-moment correlation. Studies show the class vii c, d, e, and f's digital literacy of class vii c, d, e, and f get an average of 60.77 present in the moderate category. In contrast, the results of the student biology study of students get an average of 68.02 gifts in the intermediate class. Product correlation analysis between x variables and y variables show that r recount (0.290) > t-table (1.987) so that there is a link between digital literacy and the study of the biological student vii class 12 countries

The aim of the study was to investigate the digital literacy among the students of senior secondary level with reference to gender and locale. Descriptive research method was employed to study the digital literacy among senior secondary level. A group of 600 senior secondary level students (300 male and 300 female) was taken as participants through stratified random sampling method those were represented urban and rural locality of district Meerut in same ratio i.e. 300 students were taken from urban locality and 300 students were taken from rural locality. A scale for assessing the digital literacy known as digital literacy scale was constructed by investigator. For the analysis of data, percentage, mean, standard deviation and C.R. value were obtained in the present study. It is concluded from the statistical results with reference to digital literacy of students of senior secondary level that a large proportion of sampled students showed an average level of digital literacy. Further, insignificant difference was reported in the digital literacy between male and female senior secondary level students. In the light of digital literacy of students of urban and rural locality, significant difference has been found in the digital literacy of senior secondary level students belongs to urban and rural locality. The high level of digital literacy was reported in students of urban locality as compare to students of rural locality.
Digital Literacy: A Survey Level Digital Literacy Competence among University Students in Jakarta

Digital Literacy Competence is not yet mastered by the people of Indonesia. Understanding of reading material and the ability to produce positive reading has not been successfully implemented. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of parental roles on digital literac y competencies of the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Mercu Buana. The concept of Interpersonal Communication by DeVito (2013) was used in this study. The role of the family can be classified into four, namely: (1) modeling; (2) mentoring; (3) organizing, and (4) teaching. Through survey methods and data analysis techniques with correlation and impact testing, the results of the study show that the role of parents has an influence on digital literacy competencies. The role o f parents as models, mentors, organizers and instructors in educating and raising their children is highly recognized by their children. Meanwhile, the role of parents has not had a maximum effect on improving student literacy digital competencies.
The Development of Digital Age Literacy: A Case Study in Indonesia

This research aims to develop the instrument of feasible and reliable digital-age literacy to be used in the learning process. This needs to be done due to a different region, tribe, and gender involved in this research. The digital-age literacy developed in this research consisting of 8 constructs, including 1) basic literacy, 2) scientific skill, 3) economy skill, 4) information skill, 5) technology skill, 6) visual skill, 7) various cultures skill, and 8) global awareness. As many as 650 respondents were chosen through stratified and random sampling in this survey. Those respondents were students at Universitas Terbuka based on gender and Ethnicity comparison. To see the internal consistency, the data were then analyzed using SPSS 23.00 version for Windows. It was obtained that all questionnaire constructs were valid and reliable, proven by obtaining a high mean reliability value of Cronbach Alpha (0.816 > 0.6), in which each item had a high value (0.778-0.841). Therefore, the number obtained the results proved that this research had produced a quality instrument that can be used to evaluate the students' mastery of the digital-age literacy of the learning process in Universitas Terbukain Asia, especially in Indonesia.

The aim of this research is to analyze the digital literacy abilities of students at the South Tapanuli Institute of Education in terms of the length of study and gender. This research is quantitative and descriptive. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that students with different lengths of study and gender have different abilities to use technology. The achievement percentage for functional skills and beyond is 85% and 87% respectively, with males achieving 75% and females achieving 78%. The ability to find and select information is in the "very good" category with an achievement percentage of 85% and 87%. For critical thinking and evaluation, students in semester 5 achieved 65%, while students in semester 7 achieved 72%. Males achieved 75% and females achieved 78%. The world in which today's children's lives is in fact different from that of the pasts. Today's generation, students use smart phones, tablets, laptops, instant messaging, Facebook, Instagram, and twitter to connect to friends, family, teachers, and others in their community and around the globe. They are now exposed with the term Digital Literacy. Regarding this issue, there were few studies conducted as to what aspects of digital literacy can effectively affect the learning styles of the students here in General Santos City. For this reason, this study aimed to determine if there is a significant relationship between digital literacy and the learning styles of the students. There were 200 respondents chosen randomly using Stratified random sampling from the five selected sections out of eleven sections of Grade 11 in Mindanao State University Senior High School. In the research process, the researcher used adapted and modified questionnaires and checklists, which were validated by a panel of experts. The findings of the study revealed that the level of digital literacy of the students is high (x=4.20). In addition, the dominant among the three learning styles of the students was the kinesthetic (4.07). Moreover, results showed there was a statistically significant relationship between the digital literacy and the learning styles of students. This indicates that increase in the usage of ICT tools tend to improve the attitude of students towards English subject. Results of this study may serve as basis for teachers on how to efficiently utilize ICT tools that support and enhance students' learning.

Digital literacy skills are mandatory for students to master so that they can process information wisely. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of digital literacy of elementary school students. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The sample of this research is 86 elementary students in Laweyan Sub-district, Surakarta, Indonesia. The data collection technique used is a test that validated by an expert. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis.
