Analysis of teacher organization commitment in Tangerang Regency public junior high school

This study analyzes the influence of locus of control and supervision channeled to an organization as a whole on organizational commitment and examines and describes the influence of locus of control and supervision on organizational commitment. The instrument uses questionnaires. The sample is determined by proportional stratified random sampling. From 268 teacher samples from 33 public junior high schools in Tangerang Regency, data analysis used structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings show that locus of control and supervision significantly affect organizational commitment, and locus of control significantly affects supervision. These findings prove that the locus of control and supervision of teachers can act as indicators of organizational commitment. The practical implication of this research is to provide knowledge and information for teachers and school management to increase organizational commitment by applying the concepts of locus of control and teacher supervision.
Low rate of primary schools' teachers organizational commitment has become a yearly problem faced by the regency educational administrator. This research aimed to map factors responsible for the teachers' organizational commitment atstate primary schools in the remote area of Merauke regency, Papua, Indonesia. The research sampels consist of 12primary schools in the remote area of Merauke regency, Papua, Indonesia. Profound interview with the teachers and stakeholders was the tool of the research to collect data. The data were given qualitative treatment using fishbone analysis. The results revealed four main factors influencing teachers' organizational commitment at state primary schools in the remote area of Merauke regency, that are: (a) local community, (b) teachers, (c) teachers' personality, (d) working conditions, (e) school principal, and (f) local government policies.

Purpose of the study: This study focused on job satisfaction and organizational commitment among teachers who are teaching the indigenous students in the Pahang state. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment among the teachers and to find out which dimension in job satisfaction scored the highest factors in fulfilling organizational commitment. Methodology: This is a correlational study adopting a quantitative approach in data analysis. A questionnaire on organizational commitment was adapted from Meyer and Allen (1990) while job satisfaction dimension was adapted from Spector (1985). This study aims to find and describe (1) direct influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction in State Junior High School Pematang Siantar; (2) direct influence of principal managerial skills on job satisfaction (3) direct influence of organizational culture on teacher commitment; (4) direct influence there is a direct positive effect of the managerial skill of the school principal on teacher commitment (5) the direct effect of job satisfaction on teacher commitment. This research uses quantitative method with path analysis. The population is all teachers of Pematang Siantar City as many as 250 people. The sample size of 146 people is determined using Issac and Michael. Sampling technique with proportional random sampling. The data collection instrument was conducted using a questionnaire. Instruments tested the validity with product moment with the acceptance level of 95% or at a significant level of 0.05. Reliability is calculated by the alpha coefficient formula. Prior to testing the hypothesis first tested the requirements analysis that is Normality Test with Lilifors, Homogeneity Test with Bartlett formula, and regression analysis to test linearity (ANAVA). The results of this study indicate: (1) there is a direct positive influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction, (2) there is a direct positive influence of managerial skill of school at work satisfaction; (3) there is positive direct influence of organizational culture toward teacher commitment; (4) there is direct positive influence of managerial skill toward school teacher commitment and (5) there is a positive direct effect of job satisfaction on teacher commitment. Thus the overall hypothesis is acceptable. The results of this study found that the variable Organizational Culture, Skills Managerial Head of School, Job Satisfaction in Teacher Commitment in State Junior High School Pematang Siantar.

The State High School in Tondano is a school in Minahasa Regency experiencing various problems as a result of the current teacher performance that is not optimal, and the achievement of pedagogic competence is not maximal, namely mastery of the characteristics of students from the physical, moral, social, cultural, emotional and social aspects. intellectual skills, mastery of learning theory and learning principles, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic. Organizational commitment according to the opinions of classroom teachers

Organizational commitment is fundamental at school, as in many institutions. It is only possible for teachers to exhibit a successful performance and to deal with students in a highly motivated manner only if they have a strong organizational commitment. This research aims to determine the organizational commitment levels of teachers according to the opinions of primary school teachers and to determine how classroom teachers' organizational commitment levels differ according to demographic variables. Survey research, which is one of the quantitative research designs, was used. The study population of the research consists of 674 classroom teachers working in Efeler district of Aydın province in the 2021-2022 academic year. With the proportional stratified sampling method, 300 classroom teachers were sampled. According to the opinions of the classroom teachers, it was concluded that organizational commitment was moderate, moral commitment was high, selfinterested commitment was moderate and forced commitment was very low.
Teacher's organizational commitment is one of the basic concepts unfolding the relationship between an employee and an organization. As the success of an organization may depend on how its employees get committed to, this present study was aimed at designing strategic policies to boost teacher's organizational commitment in the remote elementary schools of Merauke district, Papua, Indonesia. This present study employed a qualitative research approach using a case study research design due to that: (a) our personal competence of securing the informants' real name and office that may cause any harm to their carrier and personality, (b) our focus is on the effort of creating strategic policies to address teacher's organizational commitment in the remote elementary schools of Merauke district, Papua, and (c) we can utilize data of teacher's organizational commitment from the vary of data resources, namely: local community members, educational practitioners (teachers, lecturers, school principals, school supervisors), and local government. A purposive sampling technique was used to obtain 72 informants drawn from amongst local community members, educational practitioners (teachers, lecturers, school principals, and school supervisors), and local government. Profound interview to the local community members, educational practitioners (teachers, lecturers, school principals, and school supervisors), and local government was the main tool of the study to collect data. Data were analyzed qualitatively using Ishikawa's fishbone diagram analysis. Results of data analysis revealed three major strategic policies of boosting teacher's organizational commitment in the remote elementary schools of Merauke district, namely: (a) strategies related to teachers' individual characteristics, (b) strategies related to teachers' working conditions, and (c) strategies related to educational policy maker. These findings might be imperative for the institution of teacher training and education to design curriculum to address the special need of having teachers which are morally and mentally qualified. These findings might be also worthwhile for the local government to make an effort of creating more enjoyable working conditions and of creating regulations that will practically guide the way of recruiting and of selecting the school principals.
Views of teachers working in public schools regarding organizational commitment

In this study, the opinions of teachers working in public schools on organizational commitment were discussed. The study population of this research is 3796 teachers who work in public primary, elementary, secondary and high schools in the central district of Efeler in Aydın province. Since it was not possible to reach the entire population in terms of time, effort and financially, a sample was taken. The sample was taken by proportional stratified sampling method, 266 of which were women and 134 were men, a total of 400 teachers. In the research, screening model was used from quantitative research patterns. The data were collected with the Organizational Commitment Scale, developed by Allen and Meyer (1990) and adapted to Turkish by Wasti (2000). The data were collected online via Google Forms due to the effective coronavirus pandemic in the World. The opinions of teachers working in public schools on organizational loyalty (x̄= 4.23) are at an "average" level according to the arithmetic mean. There is a significant difference in the opinions of teachers working in public schools on organizational commitment according to the variables of age, education status, professional seniority and school type.
