This study aims to explore the implementation of values education in Islamic religious education at a Vocational High School. The research utilized a descriptive qualitative method and purposive sampling to select school principals, student affairs, Islamic Religious Education Teachers, and students as research subjects. The data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicated that values education implemented at SMK Syahida led to students who are devout in worship, democratic, environmentally aware, and tolerant. The results were verified with a data assessment rubric, which showed that values education at SMK Syahida was integrated into Islamic religious education. This research concludes that Islamic religious education is suitable for implementing values education. Strategy of Values Education in the Indonesian Education System

The primary question of this research was how educators implement values education at Junior High Schools in Bangka Belitung Province, Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with phenomenology type. Data analyzing technique used in this research was in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was done through data display, data reduction, and conclusion. The result showed that values education at Junior High School in Bangka Belitung started with the preparation of school vision based on values, and then the achievement of vision through the preparation of values education strategy. Habituation of values and values role model became the most dominant strategies used by principals and teachers to cultivate values. The results also showed that the values derived from religious teachings, namely the values of iman-taqwa (faith-piety) and good akhlaq (morals) were the most important values serve as a foundation in developing values education in schools. The big role of iman-taqwa (faith-piety) and good akhlaq (morals) values constitutes the effort done by the school to contribute in achieving the purposes of national education and curriculum of 2013. The final purpose of K-13 implementation and the national education system achievement is the formation of Indonesian whose strong faith and good morals.

The background of this study is the abuse of public trust in officials and state officials both national and local level. It can be seen from the various corrupt cases done by public officials. Strategy to Internalizing Religious Moral Values in the Learning Process in Higher Education

This study aims to describe strategies for internalizing moral and religious values in the learning process in universities. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were lecturers at the Islamic Education Department at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, and the Islamic University of Malang. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documents. The triangulation technique assessed confidence data. This study aims to identify the competencies developed from multicultural values and local wisdom in Indonesian society in Islamic Religion Education in Higher Education. This research method is qualitative, the technique of collecting data uses interviews, questioner, observation, study documentation, and focus group discussions. The subjects were lecturers and students participating in Islamic Religious Education learning. The study results found two main components, the competence of Islamic Religious Education Learning in Higher Education, which is based on multicultural values and local wisdom, and the development of indicators and instruments for assessing attitudes. The contribution of this research is the revitalization of the curriculum on the learning outcomes of Islamic education in the affective domain and cultivate multicultural values and local wisdom through Islamic Religious Education Learning in Higher Education.

Islamic education is urgent to be applied and implemented in higher educations, especially the one under Ministry of Religious Affairs. It is because of many graduates or students still do not know and apply the Islamic education concept. This study aims to describe and explain the Islamic education concept in Islamic higher educations in Indonesia to construct the student religion character. It was a case study conducted in four Islamic higher educations, namely IAIN Tulungangug, IAIN Ponogoro, IAIN Surakarta, and IAIN Salatiga. The data were obtained by analyzing some institution activities and programs, institution visions, student activities, and student perceptions. They were then analyzed with using interactive analysis technique to identify research problems. The result shows that from vision and mission, the four higher educations have proposed the similar concept, namely developing human resource who have the Islamic character. Besides, programs and facilities provided to achieve vision are building the Student Activity Unit (UKM) that concern on developing Islamic science, building some student center research, and conducting Ma'had Al Jami'ah program. Moreover, the internalization of Islamic education values is also carried out in learning process by lecturers and educators in higher educations to create a religious culture among students.

The study describes the understanding and attitudes of students about the values of the Islamic life of the Muhammadiyah people who are organized in the Muhammadiyah Citizens' Islamic Life Guidelines (PHI-WM) in accordance with the paradigm of this century, namely "Building Indonesian Character Progress". This study uses the services of Islamic Civil Society (ICS) Group Discusion (GD). The research method used was Pre-Experiment with the design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results of this study are an increase in understanding and attitudes of students after being given ICS-GD services. This research aims to elaborate on the development of the values of religious education in Islamic universities or the Aly As'adiyah as a cadre of religious leaders. The implementation of religious education values in Aly As'adiyah's capacity to print religious leaders in Wajo District, South Sulawesi was developed and the results of implementing religious leaders cadre using a qualitative approach involving as many as 43 people. Informants were selected by purposive sampling method. This research took place from January to March 2019. Analysis of the data used a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the analysis describe that there are only a few Islamic university alumni who can only be said to be religious leaders, both with the anregurutta and gurutta titles. There are three factors supporting the development of the values of religious education in cadre students to become religious leaders in the Aly As'adiyah Islamic College, namely the value of shafi'i religious education; the value of worship education that performs obligatory worship and sunnah worship; and the value of moral education such as sipakatau, sipakalebbi, and sipakainge.
