Abstract
PURPOSE/AIM •To understand a basic classification of vasculitis involving the pulmonary system •To review the radiologic findings of commonly encountered vasculidities •To review pertinent history and laboratory findings in order to appreciate that proper diagnosis of these entities involves correlating this data with radiologic findings CONTENT ORGANIZATION •Epidemiology of Vasculitis •Review of the plain film and CT findings in the chest related to this group of diseases •Discussion of a classification system which allows one to group these diseases in a logical and organized manner •Associations such as history of asthma or recent environmental exposures, and abnormalities in laboratory values such as p-ANCA, c-ANCA, Rheumatoid factor, eosinophil count, and pulmonary function tests are discussed.
