Abstract

The Malaysian Education Development Plan 2015-2025 (Higher Education) (PPPM-PT) is the ministry's aspiration in higher education that includes three aspects, namely the quality of students, the quality of institutions and the quality of the entire system. The Ministry aims to achieve a graduate employability rate of at least 80% by the year 2025. In meeting this challenge, several initiatives need to be introduced and implemented. For example, expanding industry collaboration in designing curriculum and implementing academic programs. Emphasis on experience-based learning and service needs to be emphasized in efforts to develop appropriate skills in the 21st century. The use of technology in education is also necessary to strengthen the learning and teaching system that is adapted to the needs of students (personalized learning).
