— The purpose of this project is to provide security at (house, ATM, office etc.) in this system the user will have to register a unique password. The information will be stored in data base. Whenever the right password will be received, the controller will accordingly give instruction to dc motor. Dc motor will perform the action on door unlocking. We want to utilize the electronic technology to build an integrated and fully customized home security system at a reasonable cost.

Application of Microcontroller in Door Locking System

Microcontrollers are utilized in different applications. One such application is the utilization of microcontrollers in entryway locking framework. The major utilization of this venture is to give security in houses, ATM and so forth We need to enter a secret phrase at first. The secret key will be saved in the information base of the microcontroller. At whatever point the right secret phrase will be entered with the assistance of keypad. The fundamental use of this project is to provide security in houses, ATM etc. So, the system works in such a way that first we need to set a password which then gets stored in the database. Whenever the correct password will be entered with the help of keypad the controller will send instruction to the DC motor and the door will be unlocked. This electronic technology can be used to create a fully customized and personalized door locking system. Smart homes are gaining importance with time as they have become more advanced and reliable. To make life easier, the user can switch off all the appliances while going out just by a touch from the smart phone.

Development of Microcontroller Controlled Security Door System

Over the years, several security measures have been employed to combat the menace of insecurity of lives and property. This is done by preventing unauthorized entrance into buildings through entrance doors using conventional and electronic locks, discrete access code, and biometric methods such as the finger prints, thumb prints, the iris and facial recognition. In this paper, a prototyped door security system is designed to allow a privileged user to access a secure keyless door where valid smart card authentication guarantees an entry. The model consists of hardware module and software which provides a functionality to allow the door to be controlled through the authentication of smart card by the microcontroller unit.

Design and Development of a Password-Based Door Lock Security System

This work is a design and development of a micro-controller based, password enabled door lock for home security. The work involved building a working model of a security door lock that is password protected with an AT89C52 microcontroller which operates by sending control signals to a H-bridge that controls the opening and closing of a model door connected to a stepper motor. Accessing and changing various information and settings are done via an electronic system that allows the user to enter secret pass codes via a 4 × 4 keypad and a 16 × 2 LCD display. The design incorporated a serial EEPROM that can retain the information during power outages and runs on available power from the mains supply. Once the circuit is plugged to the mains supply, the LCD displays the different menu functions and waits for data input from the keypad, the illustrative door slides open and close when a valid pass code is entered. The work was designed, developed, and tested and found to perform according to design objectives.

AUTOMATIC PASSWORD BASED DOOR LOCK SYSTEM

The necessity of a low cost electronic home security system designed in coordination with other security measures is always there in our society to reduce the risk of home intrusion. Keeping this problem in mind, we are working on a project on automatic password based door lock system. We want to utilize the electronic technology to build an integrated and fully customized home security system at a reasonable cost. We hope this project will be useful in keeping thieves, dacoits and other sort of dangers at bay. By using this system we can unlock the door by using pre-decided password, increase the security level to prevent an unauthorized unlocking. In case the user forgets the combination of password this system give the flexibility to the user to change or reset the password. This automatic password based lock system will give user more secure yet cost-efficient way of locking-unlocking system. Firstly the user combination will be compared with prerecorded password stored in the system memory. Our system will allow the user to go for certain number of wrong combinations before the system will be temporarily disabled. But if user combination matches with the password, the door will be unlocked. The same password can be used to lock the door. This system will give the user an option to reset his own password if he wants. Reasons For Choosing The Project We want to make our final year project on something that will be useful in real life. We all are aware of the fact that there has been a sharp increase in criminal offences like theft, robberies, assaults, murders etc in the recent past that is affecting our society on a large scale. So the requirement for a well equipped home security system is definitely on the rise. We want to utilize the electronic technology to build an integrated and fully customized home security system at a reasonable cost. We hope this project will be useful in keeping thieves, dacoits and other sort of dangers at bay.

In this modern world, security is the main challenging thing and crime has become ultra-modern too Motwani, (2021); Ray (2022); Rahman et al. (2018); & Vamsi, et al. (2019). In this current time a lot of incidents occur like robbery, stealing, and many more. Anyone can enter your private home at any time to steal your property. Doors serve as entrances to our homes, offices and many other kinds of enclosure; they may also provide access for strangers, criminals, and offenders. Doors are meant to be secured and to prevent intrusions from unwanted persons. Individuals and cooperate bodies are becoming more aware of the dangers associated with relying on keys and parameter fencing to provide security to exclusive areas of their apartments and organization because criminals and fraudsters can forge keys or make master keys that can be used to break into such rooms or offices. So the security does matter in this daily life. People always remain busy in their day to day work also want to ensure the safety of their beloved things. Sometimes they forget to look after their necessary things like keys, wallets and credit cards. Without these, they are unable to access their home or any place they want. To prevent such incidents many scholars came into action and tried to prohibit them. In this experimental design, a new system is designed using ARDUINO UNO which would control the door through utilizing a camera and a distance ultrasonic sensor-based technology without any complexity. A motor is fitted to the door so that door will open only when password is matched. The system keeps a picture of the visitor as evidence that would be needed if any unwanted situation occurs like stealing, and robbery. This experimental design has a known password and the information is stored in the database. When the correct pass code is entered, the microcontroller will give instruction to servo motor. Servo motor performs the action on door unlocking.

Door Lock Security System Using Recent Technology

In terms of house security, the door is pivotal. To keep the hearthstone secure, the proprietor will keep the door locked at all times. Still, owing to a rush when leaving the house, the proprietor may forget to lock the door, or they may be doubtful if they've closed the door or not. Wireless security grounded operation have fleetly increased due to the dramatic enhancement of ultramodern technologies. Numerous access control systems were designed and/or enforced grounded on different types of wireless communication technologies by different people. Radio Frequency identification (RFID) is a contactless technology that's extensively used in several diligences for tasks like access control system, book shadowing in libraries, tollgate system, forced chain operation, and so on. For enforcing this design, we will be using Arduino mega 2560 pro mini, a fingerprint sensor, Keypad module. ESP-32 CAM module, RFID sensor, solenoid lock and ESP8266. We have also created an application for monitoring and controlling the security features of the door lock. We can also open the door through mobile fingerprint.
