This study aims to obtain empirical evidence and analyze the effect of organizational commitment on auditor performance at the Jayapura City Inspectorate Office. This research is a type of research that tests hypotheses that aims to examine the relationship between the dependent variable, namely auditor performance, with the independent variables of organizational commitment and independence. In data collection, questionnaires were used as the main instrument through field studies at the Jayapura City Inspectorate Office of Papua Province. Research is descriptive with a quantitative approach, focusing on analyzing numerical data to get accurate conclusions. The research period was carried out for 3 months, from November 2023 to January 2024, involving all auditors at the Jayapura City Inspectorate Office. The results showed that increasing organizational commitment and auditor independence at the Jayapura City Inspectorate Office significantly contributed to improving auditor performance.

This study aims at empirically examining the influence of the organizational culture, leadership style, and functional position of an auditor on organizational commitment and their impact on the performance of government internal auditors in Aceh, Indonesia. All 183 of the governmental internal auditors at the district level within the Province of Aceh, Indonesia, were investigated. Data, which are gathered by distributing questionnaires to the entire population, are then analysed by the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) technique. The study found that organizational culture, leadership style, and functional auditor have affected the performance of the governmental internal auditor either directly or indirectly through organizational commitment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of professionalism, leadership style, organizational commitment and locus of control on the performance of auditors of public accounting firms in Jakarta Province. The population sampling technique is purposive sampling. Samples are the auditors who participate in the survey; 74 respondents in 15 public accounting firms. Hypothesis test on this research is based on the multiple regression analysis. Based on the result, it was concluded that the professionalism and leadership style partially had a significant positive effect on auditor performance. Organizational commitment and locus of control partially had no significant effect on the auditor's performance. Professionalism, leadership style, organizational commitment and locus of control similarly had a significant positive effect on auditor performance.

The total respondents were 182 auditors in the audit board of Indonesia from the Southern Sumatra region with different roles. Data collection method used questionnaires that were distributed to the auditors. Data analysis technique was multiple linear regression analysis. Correlation and determination coefficient and also partial test (t-test) tested the hypotheses. Finding: The result of the study showed that the basic values of BPK consisting of independence, integrity and professionalism had positive and significant effect on the Performance of Government External Auditors. Originality/value: This study contributed to the public sector auditing research by increasing our knowledge and understanding on the factors that influenced auditor performance.

This study aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics of auditors in terms of locus of control and organizational commitment to the performance of auditors. The theories that be used in this study are attribution theory and goal setting theory. Auditors in a public accounting firm in Indonesia with a minimum term of one year are selected as samples in this study. The research data were collected by questionnaires, which were processed using regression analysis. The results showed that individual characteristics which are locus of control and organizational commitment were influenced the performance of auditors. The results will contribute to the development of the auditing literature, especially regarding to the influence of individual characteristics on the auditor's performance as well as performance of auditors.

This study aims to determine the effect of Organizational Culture, Work Ethics, Auditor Independence, Integrity Auditor and Understanding of Good Governance on Auditor Performance. The sample used in this study consists of 121 auditors, internal auditors and external auditors are included in Jakarta. Samples were randomly distributed using a purposive sampling method. The method used in this study is a multiple linear regression. The study aims to determine and analyze the effects of competence, independence and professional attitudes on audit quality and individual characteristics as moderating the effects of competency, independence and professional attitude on the audit quality of Internal Apparatus in Southeast Sulawesi. This study aims to examine the effect of independence and leadership style based on the gender on audit quality at public accounting firms in Makassar City. This research is descriptive quantitative research using primary data obtained from auditors who work at the public accounting firm in Makassar. The data collection method was carried out using a questionnaire distributed to six public accounting firms with a sample of 30.
