Student Perceptions of Covid-19 Induced E-Learning in State Universities In Zimbabwe
International Journal of Learning, Teaching and Educational Research, 2022
During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the prohibition of gatherings threatened the education process. Learning institutions had to close. Instead, institutions had to opt for virtual teaching methods. This study investigates the implications of coronavirus-induced e-Learning on university education. As such, the main objective of the study was to determine the perceptions of the students about Covid-19-induced e-Learning. A survey design with 357 university students underpins the study. The students felt that the e-Learning platforms had interaction limitations and required more resources, making it more expensive. They also perceived face-to-face classes to be better than online classes, negatively affecting their performance. Students experienced challenges with e-Learning platforms, such as lack of electricity, lack of resources and information technology skills, and an unconducive home environment. The study recommends that universities adopt a blended approach, provide students with relevant devices and data, and provide prerecorded lecture audio. The study also recommends that the e-Learning platforms be made more user-friendly. Institutions should also provide adequate technical support to lecturers and students to improve the effectiveness of online teaching and learning effectiveness.

Online Teaching and Learning Under COVID-19 Pandemic; Perception of University Students in Ghana
European Journal of Interactive Multimedia and Education
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, universities in Ghana instituted drastic interventions to support large-scale online teaching and learning. This study, therefore, examines student's participation, level of satisfaction, and related challenges in teaching and learning delivery during the Coronavirus pandemic. The study also selects significant predictors of student's e-learning perceptions. Data was collected via an online structured survey based on students from the Kumasi Technical University. In all 2000 complete responses were received and formed the basis for our analysis. The study results reveal that 197 (9.85% of the sample) were unable to fully participate due to challenges such as lack of access devices, unreliable internet connectivity, and inability to afford the cost of internet data. It is again clear from the results that about 90.1% of students are not satisfied with e-learning and its associated challenges. From the positive perception model, students held the view that e-learning technology in the COVID-19 era is positive regardless of the challenges. On the other hand, level 300 students, and Moodle VClass platform users express a high negative perception over the use of e-learning technology. It is clear from this study that further investments and contingency plans are needed to develop a resilient education system that supports electronic and distance learning and shapes the perception and acceptance of students. University managers and the Education Ministry should formulate post-COVID-19 strategies to promote e-learning in a developing country like Ghana.
The COVID-19 epidemic exposed Pakistan's higher education system's incapacity to react to widespread unpredicted disruption throughout the world, requiring curriculum transformation to e-learning, which is a problem for whole education participants. This research has the aim of exploring the critical experiments encountered by contemporary online learning systems, as well as the key factors that enable the use of online teaching and learning platforms in Pakistan during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the challenges faced by universities in determining their readiness. By examining the COVID-19 crisis, it was observed that the quality of service had a minimal effect on the satisfaction of learners, although both the quality of information and selfefficacy were found to have a considerable influence on satisfaction.A recent research conducted by universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa explored the online teaching experience of 25 university educators post the launch of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. A variety of methodologies, such as systematic structural analysis, collaborative research articles, general statements of knowledge, observation, and surveys, were used to collect responses from the participants. Upon analysis of the responses, the primary challenges faced by both university educators and learners included identifying the computer literacy, determining the electronic environment of the institution, providing support, preparing educational staff and preparing learners for online learning. The majority of respondents agreed that an educator's methodological work is an electronic educational setting different from traditional teaching approaches. The psychological, technical, methodological, and educator programmers are critical to reducing the adverse effects of rapid education modification and implementing effective online learning.

University Students' Experiences and Attitudes Toward Online Learning During the Pandemic Covid-19
Proceedings of the International Scientific Conference - Sinteza 2022
The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant influence on university education and organization of lecturing. Most universities throughout the world had not been prepared for the new circumstances, and this ultimately affected both the organization and the quality of lectures. Universities were obliged to follow trends and implement new strategies in lecturing in order to support their students where help was most required, and furthermore, in order to maintain the quality of their experiences and education. The objective of this research was to gain insight into how students reacted to the new pandemic situation and whether they are satisfied with online teaching so that universities could use the results to adapt and conduct online teaching in the future. The research found that students considered online learning had affected their efficiency, productivity, and level of motivation in the process of learning. Apart from these adversities regarding online teaching and learning, the survey found that the students' attitude toward the implementation of technology in university education would improve the process of online lecturing and examination and enhance the present situation.

Students' Perception on Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Colombo Arts: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, 2022
This paper focuses on students’ perception of the effectiveness of online vs onsite learning within two faculties (Arts and Science) of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Furthermore, the results of this study are compared to those of similar studies conducted in several other countries. The research problem addressed in this study is: What is the impact of ICT knowledge, digital infrastructure, classroom environment, and policy support on undergraduates’ perception of online teaching and learning? The primary data for the study was collected using a structured questionnaire. The objective of the questionnaire was to measure the impact of ICT knowledge, digital infrastructure, classroom environment, and policy support on undergraduates’ perception of online teaching and learning. A questionnaire was made available through an online platform to two hundred undergraduates of the two faculties, Arts and Science, of the University of Colombo, and the one hundred eighty (180) responses received were analysed using SPSS. The neutrality of the impact of ICT knowledge, digital infrastructure, classroom environment, and the policy framework on the participants’ perception of the online teaching/learning process can be interpreted as the non-existence of a significant difference between online and onsite classes. However, the additional comments provided by the same respondents at the end of the questionnaire indicate opinions contradictory to the above finding.
