2018, Journal of Healthcare Quality Research
proposal was made for indicators of quality and safety that were prioritized considering a series of pre-established attributes. The selected indicators were classified into indicators of context, safety, activation and results of the intervention in the patient. Results A set of 114 quality of health care and safety indicators were identified, of which 35 indicators were prioritized: 15 for NVAF and 20 for DVT. 49% of the indicators (40% for NVAF and 55% for DVT) represented patient safety and 26% (33% for NVAF and 20% for DVT) the results of interventions in the patient. Conclusions The present work presents a set of agreed indicators by a group of expert professionals that can contribute to the improvement of the quality of care of patients with FANV and ETEV treated with anticoagulants.
