Threshing and Grain Separating Mechanism with Differentiate Concave for Intensification of Threshing and Grain Separation

The objective of the paper was intensification of the process of threshing and grain separation by a rasp-bar threshing mechanism of a combine harvester with a differentiate concave; substantiation of a regular-style design and differentiate concave parameters as well as threshing and separating mechanism operation modes. Theoretical research has been conducted based on laws of motion, experimental investigation – in accordance with methods devised on the basis of conventional methodologies. Standard computing methods as well as Microsoft Excel and Mathcad application packages have been used for processing experimental data. Measuring and recording equipment has been used in the research process. Experimental investigation has been carried out on specially devised experimental assemblies. The technology of harvester working in selective felling

Formula of harvester performance with divided of processing time of one tree into components is represented. Analyzed duration of components the time cycle of wood processing, it is concluded that the manipulation duration of hydraulic manipulator is changing at work on different technologies of harvester and thus constituting the processing time of one tree. According to the first technology from one operating position felling is provided by a larger number of trees and by this technology performance is higher than the second. When selecting technology work of the harvester necessary to consider the particular working conditions (density of plantings, soil conditions).

Hammer crushers are widely used for the destruction of grain in feed preparation. When they work in the grinding chamber, as a result of the rotor’s rotation, air flows arise that involve particles of crushed material and whole grains in motion, thereby creating an air-productive layer. These air flows are influenced by the shape and geometrical parameters of the blades, their location, rotor diameter and speed, and the parameters of the separating surface. Under the conditions of Knyagininskiy University, a hammer crusher with an enlarged separating surface was developed, the working chamber of which was formed by two end and one peripheral sieves. Рассмотрена технология производства гранулированного корма из неразделенного зернового вороха, убранного методом очеса в фазы от молочной до восковой спелости. Это позволило на 7-8% повысить содержание протеина в корме за счет более богатого белком зерна ранних и сверх-ранних сроков уборки и включения вегетативной части колоса в состав корма, а также снизить себестоимость приготовления корма. The production process for pelleted feed using undivided grain heap harvested by stripping into milky to wax ripeness phases is described. This made it possible to increase the protein content in the feed by 7-8% due to the grain richer in protein in early and very early harvesting periods and the inclusion of the vegetative part of the ear in the feed, as well as to reduce the cost of preparing the feed.

For the treatment of fodder grasses during mowing on modern mowers install various conditioners designed to accelerate their wilting. The most extended among them are pressing rollers and shafts, equipped, as a rule, with various hammer-type beats. However, these conditioners installed on rotary mowers have a difficult drive, high mass and price. It is possible to eliminate these lacks by the use of a new conditioner [1], developed in the Federal Williams Research Center for Fodder Production and Agroecology (Moscow region), and equipped with beats for mechanical action on the stalks of grasses in the process of mowing. At present, in many regions of the Russian Federation, post-harvest processing of grain is carried out directly on the farms themselves. Produced grain is mainly used for fodder and seed purposes. This is predetermined by difficult weather conditions, and freshly harvested grain is fed to the post-harvest treatment unevenly, it has high humidity and debris, a significant heterogeneity of seeds by ripeness. Machines and equipment of grain cleaning and drying stations and complexes do not fully comply with the properties of the grain pile, which leads to a decrease in their throughput, disruption of processing, the accumulation of large masses of raw grain heap, lengthening the time of harvest, increased losses and reduced quality seeds.
