The Saïss watershed forms the central part of the South-Rifain furrow, it is bounded by the river Beth at the West and the Sebou at the East and is bordered by the pre-Nerian wrinkles at the North and the middle-atlasic Causse at the South, whose total area is 2100 Km². It is considered one of the very important areas for agricultural practice with acceptable soil quality and a very large quantity of water resources. Recently, the management of these resources is unsustainable, on the one hand the overexploitation of water resources due to population growth and the development of industry, and on the other hand, the urban extension in agricultural areas, which offers a wide study to give and propose solutions to these problems. In this context, the specific objectives of this work are to study the typology and hierarchy of the hydrographic network of the Saïss basin, which is manifested by the increasing importance of its elements, from the original upstream ramifications with no tributaries. Also the typology of the two main water tables of the basin which are: The PlioQuaternary water table, and the deep water table of Lias.
