This research aims to evaluate the contribution of researchers from Türkiye to the global literature through bibliometric analyses via the Web of Science (WoS) database and to discuss the general status of the field. In this context, it is aimed to present current discussions by making a general evaluation of the works produced and the fields studied in the field of music in Türkiye. The relevant data was filtered from 419498 documents via the WoS Core Collection on 01/10/2024. The studies conducted in the field of music are in Türkiye, with 192 studies, followed by Mexico (f:215), South Korea (f:204), and Serbia (f:195) in the world, respectively. In this ranking, Türkiye, which ranks 43rd, was seen to have 1781 academic staff addressed in the fine arts main field and music sub-research field in the YÖK Academic data source, corresponding to 0.11 WoS documents per person. 192 studies were published in 67 different sources, the average citations per doc value of the documents was 3.58, and the annual growth rate was 5.24%. The relevant documents were produced with the contribution of 309 researchers from 176 universities from 23 countries. The fields with which relevant research is most frequently associated, other than music research, are education & instruction research (f:35), experimental psychology (f:21), and medicine (f:17). The research words most frequently used by researchers in their works are music education, Türkiye, makam music, personality, Turkish music, anxiety, access to music information, stress, depression, gender, guitar, makam, music, music analysis, music perception, music performance anxiety, pre-service music teachers, rhythm. In line with the findings obtained, it was observed that academic productivity in the field of music in Türkiye was relatively low in the skies scanned in the relevant indexes. However, the data also suggests a promising potential for increased international collaboration in music and art, which could significantly enhance the global impact of Turkish research.
Research topic selection of academics in Turkish music state conservatory
The purpose of this study is to investigate the opinions of academics in Turkish music state conservatory about selection of topics to research. Phenomenological design was used while investigating opinions of academics about selection of topics to research. Study was conducted with 6 academics in conservatory in Ankara. " Research Topic Selection Interview Form " was used in order to investigate opinions of academics about selection of topics to research. Data was analyzed with content analysis.According to the findings; 3 categories were found for problems that can be encountered while selecting research topic. 5 categories were found for obstacles that can be encountered while selecting research topic. 9 categories were found for the factors of study that are effective while selecting research topic. 8 categories were for the individual factors that are effective while selecting research topic. 4 categories were found for the environmental factors that are effective while selecting research topic. 5 categories were found for the factors that are helpful while selecting research topic.

Bibliometric Study of Performing Arts
The importance of bibliometric study in performing arts really have been brought to external world about its nature, originality and developments. In this aspects bibliometric study analysis in the literature contributions of the same academicians were analysed indeed in detailed manner. Through this tools usage the literature strength and weak of performing arts have been explored and identified in the proper channel. What do academicians such as professors and research scholars are needed to do in the development of literatures range in performing arts were identified and what are the development steps needs to be taken out form the government side was explicitly discovered. Among the several department of performing arts in Pondicherry state the Pondicherry central university academicians are written books ,articles, conducted seminars, workshops and conferences as enough as sufficient in the career development aspects. In the same style rest of department of various colleges and university in Pondicherry have to concentrate on creating literatures in performing arts department.

Academic studies on "public relations researches" have an important role in the field of public relations. The aim of this study is to explore how the publications in the public relations research field are differed in local and international journals. In order to look at the international literature, the publications indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) and in the Turkish literature, the studies indexed in the TR Index were chosen as a sample of this study. In both databases, the publications within the scope of the literature review searched with the keyword "public relations research", were analyzed bibliometric method within the scope of the research questions. Journals, authors, subject areas/keywords, universities, and countries which produced the most publications in the literature were examined and citation analysis were made. The datasets obtained from WoS and TR Index are handled separately due to the data structure differences in both databases. This study provides information on the data of the studies on "public relations research" in the international literature and the literature in Turkey. The subject of public relations research is an area which has been more significant and on which more research has been done in recent years. In both kinds of literature, it was determined that the most cited author was J.E. Grunig.
